~~Official December SAT CR~~

I remember there was one question on one of the short passages. "Parody" was in one of the answer choices. It was like about how music pervades society.

Wasn't human engagement an option for another question as well?

Because now I'm almost positive I put that he transcended ideological beliefs or w/e...

Definitely celebratory. I can imagine those scientists partying and saying "WOO WE CAN DETECT SMALL MASSED PLANETS!"

=)

I put celebratory also.

And for the parody one... I think I put allegorical something or another.

I wasn't sure on that one.

no no they were two separate questions.

The answer to the "episode" question was "human engagement"
and the answer to the another question, which I don't remember of, was "transcended from ideology" bla bla

No the music one with the paradoy as an answer choice was OVERSTATEMENT im pretty sure.

It said all people are affected by music. That is WAY too generalized.

haha... I'm so good at remembering my SAt questions :-P

Was the answer "overstatement" an answer choice in the parody question? I forgot.

O wait... lol... I should just get off this board.

I definately put OVERSTATEMENT for something... So if that was the parody/allegory question then I put overstatement. :-)

I put overstatement

hey what did you get for that "hari" question?

Was it " previous attempts were futile" or that he thought his "life prospects were severely limited"

I went with the latter.....

If it was the first question in that paragraph passage that was about music, then yes.

What was the meaning of the word "sharp" in the lobster passage. It was a "sharp decline in prices...

For the hair question... I'm not sure I put either of those...

I think there might have been a better option?

I put "acute", because none of the others made sense to me..and I had no frigging clue what "gruff" was

but.....I think I got that one wrong

It was that his prospects were not limited im pretty sure. The passages never indicated that he ever tried to advance in society before.

YEa I was unsure on the sharp one....

But I think I put acute.

YESS
You are making my day better..

Yes the answer was acute. Acute means sharp or severe in effect; intense.

Does anyone know the answer to the last quesiton of the politics passage? I put that he wants people to be engaged in family life as much as in politics. Correct?

My days improved I think lol.

I got a 640 on CR last time (my lowest of all three), and I want a 700 at least this time.

IM HOPING.
