Guju: Ill-conceived has a very restricted meaning, as in something that is not planned or considered carefully enough. Half-hearted means done with little intensity and apathetically. A war can be poorly thought out, but the war itself can be done with intensity and focus. They don't mean the same thing.

Wait a second...was the answer to the question about the second paragraph (describing New York and how there were playgrounds everywhere and shadows and stuff) was that mysterious and uncertain or not?

it was not mysterious/uncertain

it was someting along the lines of unvarying/boring

yeah I did see esoteric a lot...good thing it was a vocab word!

i think i used esoteric one or two times

damn. fell into their trap...

Uh... the bird and the beak writing question? no error?

@syn: You might be right but that "adjective" was "contrasting". The theories did not contrast, they actually were very similar. Plus they were just "imagining (=romanticizing)" what venus would be like without solid evidence.

You may again be right but I didn't see any cold hard evidence that it was foolish or an imitation. If you did, please point me to it.

Bird beak: no error

For 2 of the last few writing questions on section 10 did you guys get answers with "ing" words in them. I think one answer began with "Although." I know the SAT doesn't like "ing" words, but it seemed like none of the other choices fit?

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
you guys remember that one where it starts out with.. "For all the talk of ecosystems, the companies..."??
I put leave it as is

The last question did not have "although" in it. I think that was a runon or a comma splice error.

are u sure bird beak was no error... i think i found one in there,

also what'd you guys put for this one:

for all their discussion, major companies do little to help with environemental pollution

or something along those lines... i put "no erroR"

SalikSyed, I agree

did anyone have a writing section as an experimental? I had one.. The one after the 2nd writing section was the experimental right? it seemed much harder.

I am not sure about the bird beak one. What was the error you found? I had 3 no errors including the bird beak as 1.

@rupang818: I think that's the one that had the "Although." I think it had to be something like "Although much talk about this one or that one." I know that sounded wordy but it was the only word which indicated contrast. "for" would indicate cause-effect. And the sentence definitely need contrast since it said something like "For all the talk of ecosystems major companies have done little to better the environment."

There were 2 marble problems for me. On the first math section, it asked for how many different combinations or something. I got 6 as the answer. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

The major companies had no error.

The problem was "For all their talk, major companies have done little ...." For all their talk was underline and correct, I hope.

@crom and @wanting2400: Please read my explanation above...it had to be the one with "although."

Possible no error questions (Check)
