its 4/9

you haffta account for the first and second case.

1 short 1 international + 1 international 1 short

2/9 + 2/9 = 4/9

; )

its 4/9

; )

WOOHOO!
that's what I thought.
I almost put 2/9 but I was like it can't be.
Then i thought about the other cases.

...watch me still not break 700 lol.

m = 2 for that R=kC^m one right?

and the interest was the $4000 somehting right?

I got 2 for m and 3685.58 for the interest one.

damn it!!! so far 2 wrong 1 skip

was there any other hard questons? I can't remember...

m is 2 and the interest is 4200 odd....

Interest is 3685.58

3500(1+(.052/4))^4

How did you get something in the 4200s?

principal = 3500, 5.2% interest compounded quarterly

A = 3500(1+0.052/4)^(4) = 3685.58

3500 * [1 + 5.2/100]^4

A = Principal * [1 + R/100]^n

Why is it 5.2/400??? rate is a percentage.. and compunded quarterly is 4 times a year .. so n = 4

5.2/400 is the same thing as .052/4

Oh and also that probability one with 1 to 10 and get getting sum of 7.
was it .06?

It's compounded quarterly. You divide the interest rate by the number of times it's compounded and then the exponent is the number of times it's compounded annuals * number of years.

A = P(1+r/n)^(nt)

I got .06 for the 7 question, too.

i think i got .06 as well

i know... i think u may be right.... Interest was compounded quarterly right? at 5.2 p.a

And I got 24.8 for the height of the cone in the question with the equal volumes.

do u know how to do that 3D one? (tho I skipped)

I know the distance between 2 points was 1. but...ehh hate 3D

You mean the set of points equidistant from A(1,1,3) and B(1,2,3)? I said y = 3/2.

i put y=3/2 for the 3D one

i think the choices were x=1, y=1/2, y=1, y=3/2, z=3

how do u do that..arghgh
