OFFICIAL January 2013 Math 2 SAT Subject Test Thread

Discussion and results.

Good luck tomorrow everyone!

Out of curiosity, why are people taking this test?

Math 2 was my only weak sat score < 700, so I'm taking it again. Will be glad to be done with standardized tests! I would've been done in December, but I'm fairly confident I made a bubbling error on my December test. So, I'm taking it again tomorrow to show my knowledge to colleges.

I took Physics, chem and math. This was my third attempt for math 2! I totally messed it up. I got 780 and I wanted to just improve my score but I guess I won’t be getting 800 this time
I will probably try in may again
Physics and chem on the other hand were really good :)

first time taking it, was harder than those CB practice tests…

Are we allowed to discuss the answers at this point?

no, I don’t think that we are allowed to discuss it on here until like 1 or 2 days after the test

what do guys think the curve is gonna be? I left 6 blank so as long as i get the rest right i might get an 800 I hope!!

No we should be able to discuss in a few hours.

yeah im done with the test and I am EST so everyone else across the nation has already taken it so start posting answers in about 3 hours

hey guys, how’d you think of it overall? i skipped 3 questions :frowning: but I was able to answer every other question with thought, no guessing.

idk it was alright, i left 6 blank and answered the rest with though

I feel like leaving 7 blank will probably be an 800… I left 4 blank but probably missed a few.

answered all questions:)
BTW. Was the US test the same than the International SAT?

not sure if it was the same, i would name the questions/answers but the west coast is about to take it. but i really hope that 7 omit is an 800 b/c it would increase my chances so much :)

no offense, but it would be a a really big miracle if 7 omit could get you an 800, let’s hope so.

This test was so much harder than the CB practice tests. I omitted 5 questions and am only semiconfident about some of my other answers. How much of a chance do I have at an 800?

lol damaan i know  but i omitted 3 and idk how many i got wrong so i’m borderline.

i omitted 6 but was confident on the others, but im bound to get 1 wrong, if i dont do i wont mind haha and hopefully 6 omit is an 800

6 omit is always 800  Sometimes 42 and 43 are 800, but it’s rare.

idk how this compared to CB practice tests, but in comparison to Barron’s + Dr Chung practice tests it was literally a piece of cake. No joke, i think I finished with 20 minutes left over. I definitely recommend those prep books for future test takers

when can we start going over the questions? i left two blank and i wasn’t so sure about some other ones, what are my chances of an 800?
