Overall I'm pretty ticked off that I didn't get Fall admittance. I applied for that priority decision. My stats are relatively good, above average in SAT at least. Seeing as how some out of state kids with much worse stats got in the fall, I'm drawing the conclusion that the University of Maryland is less concerned with serving the students of MD, and more concerned with making maximum profit off out of state losers.

Do you think the problem was I mistakenly put Psychology as my intended major. I was told they really didn't care what you put there. Is it possible if I selected undecided I would be in right now?

I am shocked too, but UMD tries to get a well balance class and state that 30% are OOS. Maybe they looked and saw that compared to Anne Arundel applicants there were some that will fill the school profile better.

Remember that there were 27K for only 4K slots, it is still great that you got spring.
