I got the same exact email guys, NOT THE LIKELY, but the one where it says not to open it in front of other people.
My Spring Break is the next day and I’m going to Jamaica with my school for a service trip… I don’t really want this decision to ruin my break so should I check it after I get back on April 3rd?
@k4vglitcher They released LL for Latinos? For real?
@beckett Yes, wait until after your vacation. Its not like you can change it either way.
I agree with @border…seriously? Don’t really care, son’s all set, but what about treating all these kids the same. Congrats though!
Typically Likely Letters are sent to mainly athletes, however some ivy league colleges will send likely letters to EXTREMELY STRONG candidates. Ones who could go to any college of their choice. It is mainly a “Pick me please” move. Most will send out about 200 likely letters a year. Since Duke admits nearly 1800 incoming freshmen each year. Only 1 in 9 will get them. So don’t be discouraged if you didn’t get one :).
All I got was an update that says check your portal next Thursday T T anyone else just like me?
Yeah that’s what my email said as well. It is just nerve wracking waiting to see I guess haha.
I’ll be in Hawaii so that means I’ll find out at 1pm!
The wait continues.
So what did yall enter as your intended majors?
Math/Applied Math.
Bio/Bioinfo
I want to do public policy and economics, but I didn’t apply that…
Why Not? ^
Honestly, when I applied I had no certain idea. I applied for global health, human development and women’s studies. But now I’m much more confident in the economics and public policy realm of things. I want to work internationally with human development but doing development economics.
I want to double major Political Science/English haha
Undecided (Trinity)
Thursday March 26th 7PM!!! Did anyone else’s notification email tell you to open your admission results alone/privately??
Did anyone else’s notification alert email say this: “When you decide to check your decision online, we strongly encourage you to do so in the privacy of your own residence, not at school”??
