Official ED Discussion Class of 2017

Congratulations to all that got in! I really hope I get to join you next year! I’m hoping for my letter tomorrow, but I am in MT so we’ll see!

My son in Switzerland, also got his Fed Ex letter today. Congrats to all!

I still haven’t gotten my letter in California. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted thus far… I hope to have the opportunity to meet you.

I’m in California as well, and haven’t gotten my letter yet. Fingers crossed!

Yay California people! Waiting for mine as well and frantically googling to see if other people have received theirs yet. I hate the suspense.
Congrats to everyone who got in!

California friends, when we get our letters all depends on whether Swat sent it priority or not. To the people who have already received a letter…was it indicated anywhere on the envelope whether or not the letter was sent priority? Thanks!

Why does Swarthmore use only mail for its admissions decisions?

My D is still waiting anxiously in Texas. Maybe today is the day!

I’m in California and got my acceptance yesterday. It wasn’t priority mail, but I think it just depends how far you are from a major airport USPS uses. I’m just happy I got mine yesterday! Good luck to other CA applicants!

Nay I got rej…TT…

Bostonboy, where in California do you live? I’m about an hour south of SF, and I stopped by the post office today (no letter).

I’m a SoCal kid, USPS works strangely  I’m sure you’ll get it soon! Good luck!

Seriously though, I’m in New Jersey and I STILL haven’t gotten it. I’m kind of starting to freak out a little bit…

I haven’t gotten a letter either. I’m an alto in choir @altolove. Go altos!

@raeraerascal Cheers for fellow altos! :)

Today I found out that they do not mail all letters on the same day, they do them in blocks. So that would explain why why some people in California have theirs while someone in NJ does not. Don’t worry though, the blocks are not based on acceptance or rejection. They also want everyone to have theirs by the 15th, so I am sure we will all receive them tomorrow or Saturday!

How did you find that out about blocks?

Nothing in MN today! Hoping for tomorrow!

My host-dad called the admissions office when I was at school and they told him the letters were sent out in blocks. I don’t know how they block them, but they said it is not acceptance and rejection. Hopefully we’ll hear tomorrow!

Best of luck to all those still waiting to hear. I just got my letter and I was accepted! I am so excited and grateful. To those who got in, is there a facebook page for admitted students?

No admitted FB page, but I’d just wait until Admissions creates one (probably not too long…)
