Official ed group!!!

Alright, since we just hit December, I thought that maybe we should help each other relax as December 11 approaches. I guess we should get to know each other. I'll start first. I'm an Asian graduating from a decent sized high school in Illinois! My GPA isn't the greatest cause I got four Bs, but meh. A couple of 5s on APs and I suppose I am eding to Wash U! What about you guys?

Hi!

I’m a Caucasian Jewish female from suburban New Jersey (armpit of America whooo!). I go to a well-regarded public highschool, and while I have a low GPA (for WashU) due to medical issues my sophomore and junior years, my test scores and ECs are right on target. I applied dual into Sam Fox and Arts and Sciences for Comm. Design and English, which unfortunately disqualifies me from pretty much every merit scholarship which saddened me (I really wanted to apply for the writing one…). I visited for Liberal Arts day, fell in love, and the rest is history. EDed without a second thought.

Nice to meet everyone :]

By the way, I’m the oldest child so I know nothing about how colleges send out decisions. Do they do it through e-mail, the WUSTL pathway, or just the mail?

If I remember correctly, I got an email telling me that my decision was available on the WUSTL Pathway. I didn’t apply ED, but I assume it’ll be the same way.

It’ll be up on the pathway first. E-mail and snail mail comes later.

Thanks so much! I’m absolutely terrified.

Do decisions really come out on the 11th?

Yeah, will they ever send out an e-mail letting people know about times and stuff before they actually happen? Kind of freaking out here seeing as I will be at a MUN officers meeting for all of Saturday…

ill be at MUN too!

Hey hey all!

I’m a halfsie applying ED without a doubt to WashU
I had never heard of it until my Sophomore year when I sat in on a meeting at my school’s college and career center. Since then, I’ve visited 4 times and known that it is my first choice!

I’m hoping to do crew and some intramurals while double-majoring in Poly-Sci and Biomedical Engineering. We’ll see though T_T

Another fun fact-- I guess I look like a bro, but definitely not… Speech, World of Warcraft, and “What if” physics situations all make me a giant nerd.

Hopefully I’ll see you all at WashU!

That’s the goal!

Has anyone confirmed the Dec. 11th Pathway release date yet? If not, I’m going to call either tonight or tomorrow afternoon depending on when their admissions office is open. I hate to be a bother, but I (and I’m sure everyone else) wants to know for sure.

I’m almost positive about the 10th/11th from the looks of other threads I’ve seen, but feel free to call. I’m sure they won’t mind cause I called about my lost pathway login username and they were happy to help :)

Yeah, I would love if you called and posted back…I’ll try to call as well :D

I have no ninth period tomorrow, so I’m going to call then. Expect an answer by like 2:30 EST. I’ll post as soon as I know!

And I just noticed someone else posted a fun fact so I’ll join in: normally my graphics obsession is my fun fact but since that was previously mentioned, I can lick my elbow. It is NOT physically impossible!

I called admissions the other day and they just said that it would be posted online after its mailed out on the 15th, but I don’t think that is right. My sister is a junior at washu and found out on 12/12 (a wednesday). I’m hoping to see it online either wed, thurs or fri. I don’t think it will be posted on a saturday!!

As early as the 12th?! :)/(

Wednesday would be amazing!! Tomorrow is an awful day at school for me haha as long as I get accepted of course ;)

Today would’ve been worse, I just had a horrible day and do not need to see a deferral/rejection (which is unfortunately very likely…). I could deal a little better tomorrow…

Where is everyone hearing that it could be this week? I heard decisions dont come out until the 15th

A lot of schools with pathways like WUSTL release the decisions on there earlier, it’s just a matter of figuring out WHEN.

damn the anticipation is killing me
