same with my school I found out I thought earlier that my school automatically sent out first quarter grades. apparently I had to request it. top that off with technical difficulties in my school=big mishap lol

I told my guidance department to send my first quarter grades, no telling if they got them though cause my school’s counselors are so unreliable haha I had to schedule 3 in office appointments before she would remember to sign my ED agreement!

You’ll get an email saying that decisions are available OPUS and then you’ll log on that’s where you’ll see your acceptance/rejection letter at least that’s the way they did it last year :)

They will likely admit the exact same amount as last year, so I wouldn’t really worry. Emory is not one of the schools who usually says “we’re admitting less because we got more apps”. Usually, they just admit the exact same amount of students each round. The question is, are there more qualified apps. than last year. I have my doubts…(not to say I don’t expect Emory to do well, but I don’t expect the pool to dramatically increase in caliber within a year. If anything, more people may be applying because Emory admissions stats suggest that it’s more doable than many would have otherwise thought. The new admissions website is much more transparent with such numbers now). Any flux in admissions rate is normally only explained by app. numbers and that’s it (in fact, RD will often slightly admit more if it receives more apps). For Emory, it is likely that if you would have gotten in last year, you’re probably getting in this year.

I get done this year. It’s been a crazy ride. The highest highs and the lowest lows. In the end, I’m a better man because of this school. You’re going to meet some crazy people, and it will be the best time of your life. I know that sounds cheesy. But that’s okay. Because im a bit drunk.

I hope you all love Emory as much as I do. Smartest decision I made. Coming here.

Good luck to all of you guys. I was in the same boat last year. I applied last year ED 1, and I was lucky enough to get in. I’m glad I did because I wouldn’t change anything about my decision to come here.
