do they send an email with the decision or to tell me I can look at my decision or do I need to check online everyday?

@majoreco, when were you contacted for the ILR interview?

Today, when I was at school. A lady told me I have an appointment for Wednesday. My application was finished real late though (mainly because of the fee waiver taking forever). It’s with Ian, so it should be good since I’m talked to him before in person and over the phone.

@gguuyy I think they send decision by regular mail (only in some cases they call or send by email) and transfers applicants can’t check online… I’m not sure though

ILR wait is killing me since we were told this week was going to be it.

@alyssa - I am! So excited!!! Hope I see you there!

@majoreco thanks for the info! I’m assuming it truly is “rolling” admission then if some people might get in before other people are still being reviewed. I just wish I knew when to expect my news!

Not getting an interview for ILR scares the crap outta me.

@Dreaming42012 you are truly incredible for organizing that list :)

ILR applicants will hopefully hear, by the end of this week. Congratulations to all admitted students!!!

yeah me too about not getting an ILR interview. a lot of the ppl who can log in already had an interview.

@box90210, do not worry about it too much. it was a very informal interview, if you can even call it an interview. I honestly do not think it influenced anything. I summarized my Cornell ILR essay. And, I think they just wanted to clarify a few points in my application, more than anything.
Best of luck, again!

thanks ![]()
maybe tomorrows the day? i just realized from the list posted that there are only around 10 ILR ppl talking on here so there must be others who might have gotten mail today and people might be getting mail tomorrow.

ya i wouldnt sweat it because they called me before the committee had even begun to review my application. It only lasted about 15 minutes, and we discussed very few topics, not in much depth either. So it wasnt like they were okay this guy is good or on the borderline, lets give him a call, judging by what my interviewer said, at least. We’ll find out soon enough, though!! Wish you luck

hi, it seems like there are no school of hotel administration applicants.
if there are any, can you post your stats?

and if anyone can chance me?

@Something12345, Whats your major?

Hi all, i’m new to this thread haha ![]()
I am a transfer applicant for ILR and
OMG i just got a phone call from the receptionist lady this morning
and I set up an interview for tomorrow at 1 with Ian.
so nervous… what would it mean if they want to interview me?
Have anyone done interviews yet?
And is it true that ILR results are going to be released by this week?

Good luck to all of us :)

Another shout out to @Dreaming for the list! It will really help future prospective transfers!

@socal, read what secretlyhopeful wrote above to get an idea about the interview. It’s informal, some say barely an interview. Perhaps it’s just to clarify some parts of the application. Definitely nothing against you. Yes, ILR is supposedly releasing decisions this week by mail, though in the past, some have gone out via phone call.

Luck

Cornell’s database is updated again…So I suppose that more people could log in to the housing portal…

Spoke with Ian this morning, and I have been accepted as a transfer student to ILR. I cannot access the housing portal (FYI). Good luck everyone!
