***Official February 2015 SAT Makeup (US ONLY) THREAD***

Do you guys remember the sentence completion question with the word ineptitude as the answer? If so, could you post the question and answer choices word for word or to your best ability?

For one of the reading questions, the choice with the word “Invective” is WRONG… Right
Can we discuss the melting rock passage

Also was the choice “qualify with viewpoint” correct with the philosophers passage?

@top586 qualify with viewpoint is correct. for the rock passage it was something against intuition and to illustrate with other examples. i wish our scores came out tomorrow

@alpha525 what were the other options for the “illustrate with other examples” one?

What was the question for the counterint. question/ the qualify question?

@TheSATsSuck‌ was that the play question, i got disheartened … by ineptitude???

@top568 I think the play question and the ineptitude question were different but I don’t know if I’m right. The reason being is that the choice I picked for the play question was displeased/pedestrian. I think disheartened was part of an answer choice for the play question but not ineptitude. Because if both displeased/pedestrian and disheartened/ineptitude were answer choices, they would both fit in the sentence.

I apologize. I accidentally wrote ineptitude in post #600 but I meant indelible

i had displeased and pedestrian as well

I mixed up the choices… i got displeased/pedestrian as well!

@sonpat um maybe something about to state the invalidity of something or prove something wrong?

Guys I have 31 math question answers. can we try to remember the last 23

  • None (p* = (100p)* question)
  • xa^2 (x^n = a, what is x^(2n+1)
  • 10pi (the spiral's length)
  • 115 (not present in set containing multiples of 7 and 5)
  • 2 (most probable sum if large number of people spin spinner twice)
  • 70% (21 in to 6 in of topsoil)
  • y = (-1/2)x - 6 (possible equation of parallel line)
  • 6 (possible arrangements including Sarah and Alicyn
  • 1 (number of times f(x) = 0 when graph moved down 3 units)
  • II and III (roman numeral question with parallel and perpendicular lines)
  • $5000 (difference between year 5 and 6 or growing on 5 acres)
  • 55 (value of angle z, you're given x = 70, y is also in the figure)
  • X < Z < Y (Choice A, the triangle with sides 3, 4, 5 and the x, y, z angles on the outside of the triangle)
  • Median 12, Average 19 (add 100 onto the last term in a set of 25 numbers, original median = 12, average = 15 (?) )
  • 100pi (circle, radius drawn, chord drawn perpendicular to radius, chord = 16, radius up to chord = 6, find circle's area)
  • 1 + root(3) (bisected triangle)
  • -4 (system of equations)
  • 3:1 ratio
  • c/12 (dvided computers among schools then departments) -Which one must be positive: -1/y -5/6 (2 times a number, n, subtracted from 5 is the same as 4 times the number...what is n?)
  1. 1/2 or 0.5 (3x=42; what is 7/x?)
  2. 270 (total degree measure of a linear pair and a right angle)
  3. 8 (pairs were 1 and 12, 2 and 11, 3 and 10, 4 and 9, 5 and 8, and 6 and 7; we wanted the number that pairs with 5)
  4. 3 (average area of a piece of a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle that covered a 30x50 area)
  5. 2010 (|x - k| < 2 and 2008 < x < 2012; what is k?)
  6. 56 (purchasing 24 things at $35 with a 10% discount versus purchasing 25 things at a 20% discount)
  7. 862 (largest 3-digit number whose digits multiply to 96)
  8. 1.10 (reading the graph; the 1.5(?)- and 2-minute calls both cost $.30, and the 3.7-minute call cost $.50)
  9. 0 < x < 0.1 (x/x^2 is greater than 10; what could x be?)
  10. 24 (minimum perimeter of an arrangement of 4x4, 3x3, 2x2, and 1x1 squares)

Does anyone remember the one where it gave you the roots and you had to find the equation that satisfied it.

what were the answer choices

no clue, someone told me one had x-3 and 9 in it

i legit don’t remember anything anymore

why does collegeboard say my scores are available soon when i log in?

guys was this test recycled?
