Hi! I’m international and I don’t really understand the difference between a weighted and an unweighted GPA. Could someone explain it please:)?
I really want to get into georgia tech but i know my chances are extremely extremely slim. and i know that georgia tech is too good for me but i’m still hoping and pray… all the best to everyone

@lemmeinGT Could you tell us your stats?
Some advance courses have more credits than ordinary courses, so like an A in that course would get you 5 credits instead of the usual 4. Weighted GPA is one that takes that extra credit into account when its being calculated. Unweighted does not. So in unweighted, an A in the advanced course is worth the same points as an A in an ordinary course.

Josh - you will be fine with any those schools in my opinion. I believe what you do over and above the course work, in your next 4 years in computers, will land you an excellent job. Best wishes!!
