Can people who have either been accepted or rejected post your stats here please to help future applicants? Please pot even if you are'nt admitted this year. Here's a shortened template:

ACCEPTED/ REJECTED

SCHOOL/PROGRAM

SAT: 2400 V- 800 M- 800 E-800 Writing-12

SAT II: Chem, Math II, etc.

ACT: 36 M-36 R-36 E-36 S-36 Writing-12

AP classes taken (score in parentheses)

PSAT score

Research exp., Hrs. of Shadow/ Volunteer, AWARDS, ECs, etc. (Anything that you thought really helped your chances.)

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH... I really appreciate your help

ps...those weren't actually my stats...that would be totally insane..

Why don’t you try posting this request in the pre-med forum?

Although, honestly, I don’t see how the responses you’d get would be much help to you. The application process for these spots is quite rigorous and depends on so much more than just stat’s.

Can you please elaborate…like what do you think would help a freshman? Now that I think about it, I think that you are right that there’s no point in knowing their stats, but what ECs would you recommend (other than the usual trio:volunteering, shadowing, and research.). Whatever I set my mind to I can be passionate about, so suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!!

What I’d recommend is that you LIVE YOUR LIFE! Do what you enjoy, do what you’re good at, do what your parents want you to do (not really - but you could at least give it a try!) . . . don’t look to strangers to tell you how to spend the next four years.

Nothing we say is going to guarantee your acceptance to the BA/MD programs . . . and relying on our recommendations instead of charting your own course will almost certainly guarantee your rejection.
