I thought that I was behind you and then I ran in front of you…

Oh. I see.

We will need a second opinion to determine who was in the wrong.

Has anyone ever really failed gym?

I know this kid did. He got a D (not exactly failing) but he refused to dress out for class which dragged his grade down pretty fast.

Two of my friends had to retake gym because they never passed in their fitness reports. And my gym teacher would force people to make up gym class by running or doing weights, if they were absent. If they didn’t, their grade would drop. And they never made up those days they weren’t in school, so yeah. They both had to retake gym.

Oh, that is unfortunate.

Is this thread still OP-maintained? I really need gym advice.

Me too, I’m taking online gym class

AND IT’S SO HARD OP

online gym is THE HARDEST CLASS EVER. SRSLY>

Not quite failed… But it’s sad to say that your lowest grade on your transcript is in PE. Especially when you’re a recruited athlete…

Dear Good,

I am really into ‘gym class’. But I hate when people call it gym class! It is physical education! Do you have any ideas on how I can convince people to call it by its proper name??

Sincerely,
Kathryn

Is gym really that important to colleges/universities? Hmm, interesting. I thought they focused more on the core subjects on the transcript. Haha, I learn something new everyday.

Still op maintained

Are you sure about that? ;)

Positive, Junior! Any gym-related issues I can help you with?

Thank goodness! Cheesecake Lovin Bubba got some problems!

My Intro to Weightlifing teacher told me I had to have both hands holding the bar when I bench, but everyone knows that Bubba’s left hand is his cheesecake hand. Bubba can’t have both hands on the bar AND eat cheesecake! What do I do?!

Cheesecake Lovin Bubba

If you have an intrinsic need to grasp cheesecake at all times, intro to weightlifting probably isn’t the class for you. I would take something a little less hand-use-intensive, like sophomore PE.

Dear Good,

Well, it
s a requirement at my school to take two years of gym. So since it
s required, will it still look good on my college app?? Because I have a feeling that`ll be what gets me into a great school!

Colleges will look at your school mandated physical fitness and grin. While they are grinning, they will send you a think envelope telling you that you are accepted. Congratulations in advance!

Can someone explain what honor gym is ?

My school only has pe and, as an Asian, my friends and I wo uld always Joke about demanding an ap pe class for all the overachieving Asians.

Sent from my HTC One X using CC

You mean you have never heard of AP Gifted Jump-Roping?

That is intense. You can’t skip a single class.
