julina, for that one (it was like #5 or 6 in the first WS) the sentence was like The students went to some place in hopes to expand their cultural awareness or something, and "in hopes to expand" was underlined.

tlqk - OH, "himself", meaning the one about the biographer who wrote about a famous author but became famous himself. Right. I got E for that one too. =]

Goldfish, shouldn't it be "hopes OF expanding"? But I don't remember that, crap, I might have overlooked it. Was it an experimental?

did u guys get wi****ll for one of the answers??

I think it was the real WS. Yeah I thought it was "in hopes of expanding", but that wasn't one of the choices.

god damn thats weird okay w i s t full, why does it censor that

yessss! lol I thought it sounded weird, but I just put E because I only had three other "no errors"...thanks Julina

I also put the w word. lol

besides, wi*l doesn't have any * connatations

thrills4ever...I think I got wi****l for one of the questions about Georgia the reporter

Goldfish - so u mean it wasn't a sentence error ID? Like it was a setence correction? I really don't remember it...

And yes, wist-ful reminiscence is correct for Georgia.

I don't remember any hyperbole mentioned in the pencil one. I guess I could be wrong, but I saw no indications that she was being hyperbolic with her gestures. Did the word hyperbole immediately ensue fashion maven," or did it not appear until much later?

hyperbole was in the sentence of the context.

it was right after fashion maven

^ i'm wondering the same thing. Besides, a maven is experience and knowledgeable, so she will display authority.

laso, i got wi****l as well as there was somethin abourt regretful sentiment or whatever. I was leaning towards annoyance initially,

"fashion maven's hyperbole"

I believe it came right after.

im pretty sure it was exaggeration

yep, it was...excellent, only 2 wrong on CR so far!!!!

I still assert authority & flair. ;p

I got 2 wrong on the critical reading passages...

but like 10 wrong on sentence completion :)
my vocabulary bank is enormously limited :( or maybe I lack in common sense and logic...
