Wildsky, I put the same.

"which lasted for several days" u don't know if it's the running that is lasting or the contamination that is lasting. therefore i put something else

I don't think so GoSixers... I thought the structure towards the end was wrong

do u remember the answer to the x^2 = x + 6 one?

@wildsky

for the last writing section (section 10) my last two answers were both E.

For why that woman in one the passages was wanted to get married, I got that she was tired about teased about Joe(?). Did anyone else get that.

sixer, choice A wasn't talking about the contamination when it said several days

thrills4ever, i said x^2>x

i think A didn't make sense: it said "beaches are sometimes polluted by the invasion of sewage waters, which often lasts several days". but it seems that "which" is not correct grammatically...

x^2-x-6=0
Factor
(x-3)(x+2)
x=3, -2
So I think the answer was x^2>x

how was it wrong? does anyone remember the original sentence? i remember it was like:

Many cities are contaminated by sewage, which can last more than 10 days.

slurpz: so did iI. both of mine were E.

got that seth ^__^

The sewer water thing, I put "that lasted for several days", which I don't think was A.

@thrills4ever

the answer was x^2>x because if x^2=x+6...x^2 has to be greater than x because there is a "+6"

thrills4ever, I forget the anser, but I turned it into a quadratic equation, and got X= 3 ans -2. I rthink t might have been X^2>X. Not sure though.

Seth

I got that she didn't want to be teased as well.

"For why that woman in one the passages was wanted to get married, I got that she was tired about teased about Joe(?). Did anyone else get that."

Yes.

"
for the last writing section (section 10) my last two answers were both E."

Same here.

yeh I got x^2 > x

and the writing section before the 2 E's i had a D?
