OFFICIAL January Sat I Score Predictions

I am hoping 2350+
CR 760
Math 800
Writing 790?

Colleges consider the best sections from all SAT tests taken right?

600...jk! i bombed it but not that badly.

prob around 2150....750 M, 650 CR, 750 W

math - 700
cr - 650
writing - 650

hoping for that since I never reviewed for the SATs ever, lol

Hoping for 700s in all sections, CR and math prob being the lowest. How I hate dumb mistakes...

so far, it looks like i haven't missed any math, so M 800
CR- i just hope i got in the 700's (my weakest subject)
W- i have no idea what to expect. i got a 78 PSAT so i'm hoping for at least 730+

primeminister- my predictions are like the same as your's, lol. I even got a 78 on PSAT writing as well :)

M: 760 (missed 2)
W: 700 (depends on the essay; aced the MC)
V: I'll be gratified with 600+

Total: around 2050.

my psat was: 80/47/78 (math/CR/writing)

tlqkf2002, if you aced the MC, unless you got under a 4 on the essay from both of your graders, you're looking in the 750-800 range...

how do u guys have a good idea about ur scores...and how do u know the answers to the problems?

M: 700-720 (4 careless mistakes!!!)
CR: 710 or so? (screw up on the black hole one)
W: 750 (made a couple of errors, maybe 10 essay)

Math- 630 missed a few questions
CR - 700-750 was pretty easy and I believe that I only missed 1 question and i know i got one wrong
Writing- Depends on the essay but i think i got 690+
This was my first and when I do it again I'll be able to cope better with the marathon like test

math: 790 (missed one question)
WS: 750-770 (10/11 essay, maybe 2/3 wrong on MC)
CR: 700 (got about 6-7 wrong)

What did you guys think about the overall difficulty of the test? Curves better than previous ones? Any guesses on the curves and scales?

physics, i think the curves will be high this time, just by overall difficulty

M: 760 (don't know any mistakes as of yet, but bet they're there)
CR: 660 (not so great on vocab, pretty solid everywhere else)
W: 660 (essay lacked necessary support, solid elsewhere)

This was my first time taking the test, but I found the math really easy. It seemed much easier than both the Blue Book and that found on the PSAT's.
Everyone thinks it was harder than usual. That seems somewhat odd to me.

Any ideas on curves for the other two sections: critical reading and writing?

Bartagio.. I thought it was easier as well.. but I dunno.. sometimes mistakes are there but i just don't seem them at first.

CR is probably 800 800 790 770 760 750 740 720 700 690....
Writing. I'd say with a perfect essay miss around 1-2 for an 800

we still have to take into account all those 7th and 8th graders who took the exam for the Duke scholarship thing. :)

do they count in the curve?? that would be SWEEEEEET if they do because i know some 7th/8th graders from my school who took it that arent even smart at all. :-)

there still is hope i guess.....theres still a chance i may cancel my scores though.

I hope they do :)

but I think I saw them holding special answer forms so they may not be counted towards the grade curve.

kanem07.
why do you want to cancel your score though?
