****OFFICIAL JUNE 2014 SAT MATH II THREAD****

800 Math II. I think you needed a raw score of about 43 because I am pretty sure I got 5 wrong with 1 omit.

I got a 740. I’m actually satisfied because I started prepping like a week before. QUESTION: Is this score good enough for top colleges such as the one I am embracing in my User Picture?

740 for math 2 and Harvard isn’t a realistic goal. Not to be mean, but that’s just the truth, especially considering how well students perform on the Math II subject test

800 with 4 omits, so happy!

Idk @MrWiggles‌
Tell me, in your opinion what is a good enough score? (I wanna know what to be aiming for if I decide to take it again)

800 on Math II. Answered all of them, I’m fairly sure I didn’t mess up.
I’m still surprised, as I had almost no preparation before the test; that normally causes me to make a lot of mistakes.

Got my 800!

So I was impulsive and also made a thread about this. 650. E gads! But I know I did a bad job bubbling (skipped a question but filled in thebubble then rushed truing to erase correctly) and this was the end of my sophomore year. I’mreally shooting for Yale and I know I can do better if I actually prepped (test day was the first time I took the test). Is it realistic with studying and less shady bubbling to get an ivy ok-ish score?

I don’t feel special with my 800 anymore. lol but seriously, this test was ok, but the curve was probably still really good since I left 3 blank

Lolololol at MrWiggles. That score differential doesn’t matter. If PoisonIvy doesn’t get it (which with a ~3% admit rate is a likely scenario), it won’t be his 740 in math II. I have a friend that got in class of 17, he got a 600-something on math II.

Is a 780 good enough for Duke?

760 :frowning: I would’ve been happy with that except for the fact that this test has a huge curve… maybe next time

790 is there anybody in the world that feels my pain bc I think not

710 :frowning: my initial goal was above 700 but it appears upper 700s were most desirable :/

800 with about 4 or 5 omits and maybe 1 or 2 wrong. I was thinking I’d get a 790 or 780, but turns out the curve is pretty lenient. Use Barron’s to study guys!! It prepares you well trust me. Around 700 on Barron’s practice tests got me an 800 on the real one! Make sure to study if you want an 800!

Go from a 630 to 650 with studying, and then go from that 650 to a 780 with no studying. SATs are a joke.

Hi to everyone who used the PR book to study, do you feel as if it thoroughly prepared you for the test? If I study the book and do all the tests, is it realistic to expect around a 750 on the test?

I got a 790. Should I retake for those 10 extra points?

@Karkaraff Depends what major/schools you are applying for and whether you think you can 800 for sure.

800… and I thought I did much better on the bio m… =_=
