And.i.just.got.a.610
Maybe the curve was too harsh? It was my first time but I think I will not be taking the SAT again. The ACT will be my choice.

I did great in CR actually. 780M, 640W and 740CR
Quite pleased with my score 
I got 2230 (740CR 690M 800W). I did not expect my Math score to be so low and my Writing score to be so high though. I’m retaking the SAT in Oct anyway
I did the test the first time in January and scored 1540. (470 CR, 500 Writing, 570 math). I scored 1920 now. (660 Writing, 620 CR, 640 Math). Not the best result but I am happy for my improvement.

Yes you will. Deadline is December 31 for most of the colleges (I think the UC:s are an exception)

Most people do about the same on the ACT as on the SAT. But people who find that they tend to run out of time on the ACT may do better on the SAT - less time pressure. Some people find they one test or the other plays to their strengths. And sometimes you just get lucky with a test that hits your sweet spots - or not.
