Funnily enough, neither of the glitches (neither manual nor Nspire’s link) are working for me even now…weird

To everyone posting there scores, please answer my question: what books did you guys use and how did you study for it. I just used multiple test books and took their practice tests without actually reading the material within them and had a poor score. Im deciding to go through the material this September and would like book recommendations. Thank you

Can someone PM me to help with english. I got a really depressing score on tbat section.

I didn’t use any sort of test prep book and I improved from a 31 in February. Not sure if I should retake and try to get a higher score or let it be.

There’s no real way to “study” for these kinds of tests, because it’s not like you need to learn anything new. The only reason you would have to learn anything is if you’re not a native English speaker, in which case you might need to actually learn the grammar for the English section. So it all comes down to practice, and for that I suggest the Red Book (the official ACT book). I think if you practice enough, with proper timing, you will see constant improvement. I personally like to take one practice test everyday starting 2-3 days before the actual exam (worked for both SAT and ACT).

Yeah you get to a certain lout where you reach your max score possible. Not everyone can get a 35/36 just by working hard, a lot of it is natural intelligence and test taking abilities. But you can definitely improve

Anyone else notice that a lot of people scored higher on this test than they expected? I’ve seen way more jumps in scores than I have seen people being upset with their scores

It might be because we are on CC. Upper echelon

I know but I don’t just mean like high scores. Like even on here there are usually a decent amount of people dropping in score or staying the same

Actually, I kind of agree with you. I did much better than I expected.

Why is it still saying Null for me? How did you guys view your scores??

I am definitely seeing a lot more improvement than disappointment. I left the test center feeling horrible about the entire test, but my composite score improved by 2. I think the curves on this test were pretty generous.

OP here. If some of you haven’t done it already, try this link to check your ACT scores:

[Early ACT Score Checker](http://earlyactscore.co.nf/)

Credit goes to Nspire!

I’m still getting transaction cannot be completed. Is that because writing still isn’t out for me?

Composite: 34 (third time…after getting 32 twice before)

So long, ACT!

brown, if your writing score isnt up, the glitch won’t work. But if you can’t check your score online through the website, your multiple choice scores arent up either.

No I got my composite yesterday, I was just checking with the early checker to see if my essay was up. Oh well, I guess I gotta wait for July 1st to get my essay and AP test results.

My status says “tested” and I didn’t get anything: no composite, no writing score, nothing. I live in Florida if it makes any difference, and I’ve been trying to use the method that the OP originally posted, plus I tried the Early ACT Score Checker. Still doesn’t work. When I try the former, it says null. When I tried the latter, it said that the transaction couldn’t be completed at that time. What’s going on?!?

im stuck at a 32 need a 34 in september
