congrats to ajkcorner1 and zhaos for achieving that crazy elusive 2390, and is iborrowedthisid the sole perfect scorer right now?

iborrowedthisid: i was looking through your post history and saw that you too had gotten a 2310 on your first try. incidentally, my score pattern exactly copies yours, only I got my 2310 in June, and retook in December.

I know that someone's going to kill me on here haha but just so you know i'm definitely taking the SAT again in the fall and i'm going to study my ass off for it. Here are my scores:

Critical Reading: 470
Math: 450
Writing: 490
Essay: 10
Total: 1410
I was actually very suprised on the 10 i received on the essay, i thought i got an 8 or a 9. I was hoping to get at least a 500 in every section, but i know i can reach that point if i work hard this summer.

Kinda disappointing the Writing section was (67 raw :/) but the other two surprised me. I omitted like 2 on the math because I ran out of time and thought that I would get like a 740, lol.

Well, this was my first try, but I'm still really disappointed. :(

Reading - 700
Math - 710
Writing - 720

2130.

I took the ACT a week after this and got a 34, so I was expecting much better. Jeez, I at least expected a 2200. Now I need to retake in the fall and miraculously add 170 points to that stupid score. :(

Does anyone keep going back and checking their scores, hoping they'll change? lol I am. :) That, and I wrote a college essay on why my math score is 120 points below my others. lol

^ lol, I plan on doing the same thing (CR 760, W 800, M 680). Math has never been my strong point, and I've hated it since I was young. I've had to tolerate it for my whole life so far, but once I get into college, it's gonna be done!

I don't even know how I did so badly on writing and math. I knew I messed up a lot of vocab, but I thought I had at least a 750 on math. And after a 36 in reading on the ACT, I was just expecting so much better.

WOOT. Not amazing for here, but I'm going to art college. And considering they consider 600+ in each section right in their competitive range, this is great for me.
