thanks guys
@jaysea Yeah I’m pretty excited about law school…I dunno it just seems to fit so perfectly for me haha. I’m sure you’ll get into LMU-where are you transferring from?

kmart153: Good for you in knowing what you want to do. I feel like it has taken me a long time in deciding what I want to study, but I finally know, haha. Oh, and to answer your question, I’m transferring from a community college in southern California.

@jaysea

Hey I’m applying to film production too! I’m still waiting to hear a decision too. Good luck!

lord jim: awesome! thanks for the well wishes! good luck to you, as well!

kmart! congrats!!! I know you have been stressing for a while.

@jaysea yea I bounced back and forth a lot between different majors/potential future jobs until I read about law and it just…clicked I guess  Oh that’s cool! Which one?

mcuevas: thanks!!! I’m soooooo excited! I can’t wait to be out there :)

I just received an email 10 minutes ago telling me that my application is under review and that I will be receiving a decision shortly. After reading all of the posts in this thread I’m extremely nervous and hope I get in. =/

-Can anyone tell me how long it took to receive a decision after receiving that e-mail? Also, do they only release decisions via mail or online as well? Thanks!!

Hello
Does anyone know if receiving the “Your MyAid Account has New Updates for you” email means anything in regard to your admission decision?

@ aserin - Best wishes to you & hope you get in! Everyone one has been saying that they received their decision letters in the mail, and then shortly after, (up to 3 days) their MyPaw accounts reflected that decision.

@Telephant Check your financial aid to see if you have a package or anything. if you do then you know your in. Thats how i found out i got into chapman last night.

aserin: I received that same e-mail on March 18 (about three days after I submitted my application). I have yet to hear a response, though.

i got in!! :)

@Telephant, I received the same email today, but did not notice any changes to MyAid account. Were you able to figure out what it meant for you?

Does Anyone know which section of myaid a financial aid package would be visible in? I assumed it would be listed under the myaid overview if I received one at all but am not really sure.

Been following this thread for a couple months now nervously waiting to hear a response… well on Thursday I got the news I was hoping for. Got accepted into LMU as a finance major!!! I’m so excited.

im still waiting! ugh. when i emailed them they said it would be about two weeks till they made a decision and that would mean this Monday-soo im hoping i hear then! What are everyones stats who got in?? CONGRATS!

Ahh I am so nervous! I desperately want to transfer to LMU but Im not sure my gpa (3.45 overall, and 3.71 last sem) is good enough. I’ve never wanted anything this much. I think I’m going to be one of the last people who find out because Im a business major and I’m currently taking business calc (which they need to make a decision). A couple weeks ago when I was at home, I visited LMU and had a meeting with one of the admissions counselors and he said that I could get my calculus teacher to email admissions and let them know how I’m doing in the class. My teacher emailed them on Friday. I currently have a 99% average and she told them in the email that it is very likely that I will get an A in the class. This is definitely good but the admissions counselor told me that they treat this situation case by case… meaning they may make a decision based on the email but they may not. If they don’t, that means that they have to wait to get my official transcript with my calc grade on it before making a decision… which means I won’t find out until early maybe mid june. I just hope there’s still space for me! Is anyone else in this situation? This sucks because so many of you are getting in! Thats soo awesome and major props to you guys! but I want to be in the same boat as you!
