yesss i put admirer nevermind

lucky&blue: What'd you put? None of the other answer choices made sense to me.

admire/declined
same with blueducky

ok, nevermind. lol. Yeah, that one was weird for a 1st question on the section.

the uneasy one? i put uneasy haha
and the admirer/declined one i put that too

o wait what did passage 2 hae for th translating that passage 1 didnt?

or what was emphasized more?

what was the uneasy question? I believe I answered uneasy for something though lol

the father's statement

does anybody remember what was emphasized more in the second passage for the translating

yeah I put uneasy.

what was the question precisely?

^
i think the question was
"why did the father say, "let's not stay long' or something?

I was addressing lucky, sorry :P

The question was something like...
What did the father's statement ("Let's not stay long") reveal about his feelings?

Something along those lines, but his statement demonstrated how uncomfortable he was, so the answer was uneasy.

yeaa
ok so the passage about translating languages...what does the second emphasize more than the first?

Do you remember the answer choices? Because I don't... lol.

i forgot... but i think i but B!

about "unaffected" vs. "disaffected", unless it was a misprint i'm 100% sure that unaffected was the correct answer.

just think about it logically....the sentence mentioned grand language (i dont remember exactly what). to make it less pretentious or affected, it would need to be unaffected. "diffuse" makes no sense in the context of the question.

"yeaa
ok so the passage about translating languages...what does the second emphasize more than the first?"

I'm not certain, but was it something along the lines of
"optimism" or w/e? Because passage two was more hopeful for the future of translating using technology...

yes i put optimism
