Official Math Level 2 Thread

i got a 750 in june 07, and this test was def. easier. i just wanted a shot at 800, just for the hell of it

Calc. 3, although I did terrible on this test.

Hmmm, so there's no compiled list of answers yet? Or did someone answer me with me noticing ...

Ykim917: This test is also easy to me... I couldn't believe I didn't read two of the bloody questions >"<...

some of this stuff i would not have remembered if i had waited a year like most everyone in my school =]

Is anyone compiling?

It's so ironic that I spent least amount of time on the last question...

LOL... Math Level 2 Thread - 167 Replies - the most popular thread on board!

hmmm

I thought it was ok, time is always so hard to beat

I omitted 5 and maybe 1-3 incorrect, what is that?

the ones I'm unsure about are the probability ones

this one was easy the white car with 2 doors, was 3/20 right?
oh and the between 7/8 and blah blah was 1/3?

for the f(x)=f(-x) I was quite sure it was b because when I plugged in -x, it turned out to be the same equation except it was 0=x^5 -3x^3 +etc...

I spent the least amount of time on it too. :O I got 2x^2radical(1-x^4) or something using the double angle formula?

haha i dont even remember the last...its frustrating how long results take...they just have to stuff it in a machine neways

for teh between 7/8 and 4/3 i got 8/11 anyone else?

The only reason I remember is because it was the only problem I opened my text editor for. :) That list of trig formulas I used on precalc tests came in handy today. Glad I didn';t delete memory.

For the probablity one with the 7/8 I remember putting 1/3 confidently using a weird method.

I found the decimals and did soemthing weird with them and divided. Anyways, I got 1/3.

I think this test is somewhat harder and somewhat easier than the one in December. The trig is definitely harder: double angle identity, etc. However, this test doesn't include polar coordinate and those weirdi-do stuff.

oh wow i should have used the double angle formula, which I would have remembered back in June. Omg why did I wait 7 months to take the test? :(

yeah the one with white car with 2 doors was 3/20

and i skipped the one with 7/8 and 4/3

8/11 is correct

GPAx213: for that one I just picked some 72.5725725725% to pick a number >1...-.-... Forgot the exact answer...

But at the end, the questions are wayyy too easy...

there was one polar thing i believe. the one with (-5,-3) and finding the angle?

I was hating Barron's the night before cause I was scoring horribly on its tests.

I guess I should feel slightly grateful now.

I omitted 3...

How many do you guys think i can take wrong and still get an 800?
