I didn't prepare for any of the tests. I just learned to become a better test taker in school over the years. I definitely think I can still improve. I'll take my second SAT in October.

@ Narcissa-- WHY are you mad?!?!? I'd kill for your math score.

^ Good luck, we're pretty much following the same path. :)

CR 800 (+50)
M 750 (-40)
W 800 essay 10 (+60)

superscore 2390 :)

I missed 2 simple math questions :(
hope this is encouraging: I didn't do ANYTHING between Jan. and May for the SATs, even though my dad nagged me every other day...
Miracles do happen. ;)

710 CR: Minus 40 points! Ah well. Thank goodness for super scoring.

640 M: Plus 90 points! YEEEEEAH!! I never thought I would get this high in math! I'm pretty slow at learning math so it was just a surprise that I could score this high. To many of you this is probably very low but it's a big accomplishment for me.

620 W: Plus 50 points. That's a good improvement...but I'm still disappointed because I was expecting a higher score. I took this for a second time solely to improve my writing score. I did, but it still isn't what I'm looking for. I thought my writing skills would be on par with my reading skills but I guess not.

2010 super scored.

First time:

800 Writing
750 Math
700 CR.

Pleased with my score :) I would like to retake to get CR up but probably won't because of cross country consuming all my Saturday mornings in the fall. Oh well. 2250 is just fine with me:)

wow dude, congrats on that 2250.
share your secrets?

1290/1900

CR 680
M 610
W 610 (8 Essay)

I'm sorta satisfied with my score. I really wanted to get a 700 in CR, but eh what can ya do right? I'm really happy that I broke 600 with Math at least, cause I usually get 550s lol. I knew my writing score was going to be bad cause my essay was horrible. (I hated that stupid technology topic <_<)

I'm a Junior, first time, going to retake it again in Oct in time for NYU ED. If I can get 700 in CR and break 1300, I think I'll be okay. I'm applying to Tisch Film so my academic side won't be as harshly reviewed anyway.

Btw I'm an asian guy, every other asian in my school got like 700 math and 500 CR. Well, at least I stand out right? lol

gahh norabelle. you lucky ass awo;eifj;aowiejf;oiawej. I thought I would break a 2000. I felt alright. I guess that feeling wasn't good enough. Next time I'll know what kind of feeling is a good feelin.g Good job, what were you individual scores?

Dude, did you not read my post?? ^

I just went back and read it. Feed good job. Dude. I really need your skills for the Writing. Writing should not be that low.... GAH. So homo. What did quickandslow get? I didn't see it... And i wanted norabelles score GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. That CR curve was super harsh... I thought I woudl've broke 700.... Im going to need ya'lls aim to keep in touch, cuz I won't be posting on her any time soon. I need to take my subjects, so i gottta prep. and finals. etc. its going to be hectic. So shoot me a message or email of some contact information (FEED, QUICK, AND NORABELLE)

Aw, thanks! You should study Writing from Barron's 2400... great preparation! I studied from it during the last week.

Quick got a 21 something... he's taking it again in June. Was too hard on himself, poor kid! (lol he's older than me).
Nora got an exact 2000.

My email: feed.is.here@gmail.com
I don't check it that often though.
You'll probably find me lurking/posting here more often. Good luck with everything! :)

So freaking ****ed about my math score.

M: 690....cmon just 10 more points.
CR: 600
W: 640

lol i know the feeling.
i got a 690 on my Math too

wow... all of you complaining about getting a 2100 are absolutely ridiculous, i can't even believe you/stand people like you. you guys are idiots in the common sense arena, obviously not in intelligence though.

anyways,
670 cr, 630 math, 680 writing...

math went down and im ****ed about it, i don't even break 2000 with my super score.

so to all of you who are complaining about getting scores in the 2000's, GET A LIFE please... you're so sad. i dont get why you are so concerned with getting such outrageous scores? what is it going to do for you in life? yeah MAYBE get you into an ivy league school and you'll be in debt for many years afterwards and you will get just as good a job as somebody graduating from a non-ivy league but a great school nonetheless. YOU ALL NEED A MASSIVE WAKE UP CALL.

M : 750
CR: 590
W : 590

=/ I was really hoping 2000+ but I guess I will have to try again in October because I am taking Subject Tests in June.

I would have been extremely happy with my scores...
CR: 750
M: 750
W: 720 (Essay: 8)
... Except for that last part, there. Essay: 8. Is this going to screw me over? I don't particularly want to take the SAT again (this was my first time, mind you), but I might need to now. I generally do quite well at English and Writing, but under the time pressure and the fact that I had to write pencil-on-paper (I don't write well by hand, I am much more eloquent typing, where I can express my thoughts much more clearly) it seems that my writing severely suffered. Now my fear is that it'll hurt my college chances by making it seem as though my application essays were not my own (or so I've heard). To confirm this though, do they actually reference the SAT essay for that purpose?
