well in my Case they said they will provide me a CSS code only if I am accepted…for now they told me to send the scanned copies of the printed CSS…Specific as u are online…please write if u got CSS code before being a semi finalist…and still not got the decisions then??

Okay. I was given the code, a lot before the semi-finalist status floated out…

Decisions?? Most of the domestic semi-finalists who weren’t selected as the finalists were notified that they are accepted for the class of 2016 at University of Richmond.
In my case, they said that they need to review my file along with other aid seeking international students, in mid-March.

my next RD decision is on March 15 (the earliest one)…what about you all??

march 29!!! the wait is killing me!!

Yes, March 15! St. Olaf college! :)

Okay @Specific… But My friend also has applied for UR and he didn’tAer have the interview or anything…Last year, I asked them about applying Early but they asked me to apply RD if i was to get Financial Aid and scholarship? I too have applied for RD neither I was asked for anything. Are you international Student Applying from Nepal or What ???

^ You got me wrong. The interview I had was with the Brown University. I was talking about Richmond Scholars, where I didn’t advance to finalist round, just the Semi-finalist round only.

Applying by Dec 1st, doesn’t necessarily mean applying ED. I didn’t apply ED.

i got aid letter from JUB…

So, did it meet your need?

Why is the Nepalese Thread dead nowadays? Do we have examinations or what? Or it’s just that nobody feels like posting. I know that Nepalese not getting accepted as they did last year, is kind of depressing. Still, lets not kill our hope. Let us hold ourselves with patience for 26 more days (though, I really don’t know how to do that?)

Just to break the ice, I today had my Princeton interview which was awesome, very personal, informative and at times a bit emotional… we two connected… and shared well…

Good luck to everyone…

^wow! that’s real nice. by the way specific have you heard from Amherst at all about the interviews? I have been waiting to hear anything at all and the fact that I have not yet been contacted makes me feel kinda depressed. April wont come any sooner, will it?

Nope… Haven’t heard at all. Most of the colleges are done with their interview parts and now are concentrating on evaluating the applications. If someone doesn’t hear it by the start of March, then she/he shouldn’t count on getting interviews. But there may be exception too.

Amherst accepts tons of applicants without interviews. So, I wouldn’t fret too much about that, and you shouldn’t either.

@specific well that is nice to hear from you
got accepted to Colby-Sawyer , Hope College and Conditional Admission to Hanover So It has not been bad for me though. Well Last year I found CC more interesting than this year. Lot of applicants dont like to share ??? Is that so … In Nepali … Khai k bha ko ho… :P

Princeton was my dream college …and I EDed Williams then got accepted to Smith under ED2 …after watching almost every Youtube video on Smith , I like it more than nothing else …good luck everybody.Hope end of this March brings good news to all of you!

Congratulation Williamso1,
And Best wishes to everyone in this forum. I am sure everyone will have good news to share by the end of March.

Hanover gives conditional admissions to almost everyone but they ask to pay more than 8K. So, I don’t think that is of much use. Others depends on how much you have to pay. Well JUB did meet my need but the thing is that they have a huge loan i.e. 7K/year (tuition deferment as they call it) . So, I think I will keep it as a back up now…any suggestions?

Also, if colleges want interviews they will contact through email right? Or, do they mention it in portals??

@williamso1 congrats girl…

@diwash Thank you mate. We all hope to matriculate in the same year… so we would collectively be “Matriculation class of 2016 from Nepal”… :P

@sickrate That is what JUB is … This year it has been more selective. Now that you have got JUB you will be graduating on 2016 for sure
Hanover has asked me pay a higher amount its way to high than 8 grand!!!

Congrats @williams01

Need some more active members on CC!!

yeah! But i will be class of 2015 if i attend JUB (it has 3 years Bachelors degree) and CONGRATS to the accepted ones…

congrats to every1 who have already been accepted and gudluck to rest of us.
Keep posting evry1
