Anything is possible but I’m figuring that they were closed today so that pretty much rules out Wednesday. Thursday is the earliest. Anyone applying Comp Sci? My friend is and I know so many people with great stats who were rejected. Its scary.
@islandgal I am! What kind of stats did they have? I am nervous because I am slightly below NU’s overall GPA/SAT ranges.
@islandgal you’re right. My daughter has friends who applied with 4.3 and 33 act and were rejected last year to Computer Science. They were all caucasian males with a lot of community service, sports, leadership etc… From what I saw with my own kids, woman in STEM have a better chance, as do some minorities. NU wants to give everyone the opportunity and wants a diverse class. I can’t really argue with that. Everyone who gets in has a good resume and is well-deserving of the acceptance. My daughter was accepted for engineering with a nice scholarship and turned it down because she liked her other college better.
@mag3646 I’ve seen people with high stats rejected and some slightly lower stats accepted. I think they are looking beyond the transcript for a class that is spread across gender, racial and economic lines. Are you male or female? If you’re female for Comp Sci thats a plus!

I thought that NU doesn’t factor in your major when deciding whether or not to admit you… Aren’t you simply considered for admission to the University as a whole rather than to the specific college or major that you want?
Is it more difficult to get into northeastern undeclared ?
I guess its safe to assume decisions aren’t coming out today. Is tomorrow the day? I’m so nervous 
Also keep in mind that the university was heavily impacted by today’s winter storm/blizzard. Decisions may be delayed.

@camwow I applied to the College of Arts, Media, and Design (CAMD) as a Media and Screen studies major.
I applied to school of social sciences and humanities
I applied to the college of engineering
I applied to engineering as well

but they don’t ask you your second choice major, so if you don’t get accepted into the school do you not get in at all
