****OFFICIAL Northwestern CLASS OF 2019 Discussion Thread****

@ikadiggit‌ Nope I recall there’s smb up front that says he’s applying to McCormick. I’m Asian plus international, such a disadvantage…

@hannayogi‌ Are you stats good? Uh oh more and more ppl applying to Communications! Inbox me, we can share some info :)

@cms4515‌ I’ve heard similar for other schools where they have less spots for certain schools. This is often the case for engineering so I reeeaaally hope what they said is right.

@ikadiggit‌ McCormick is not too hard to get in. Medill is

@alafae‌ I always thought I was at the bottom as a white male but now I know that may not be true. Honestly though, your stats look as good as or better than mine.

If I get in, there is no way I’m going to school Friday. And I’m def spending the night out with friends

Wow I did not know that about McCormick. Good to know

And if I don’t get in… I’ll still probably spend the night out with friends trying to forget about it

I like the first scenario much more

@Nardog15‌ im with you on that one. anyone want to throw a rejection party? :-bd

@ikadiggit I am applying to Engineering school as well bruh

@Nardog15‌ You sound like a North Campus-er hahaha

Nice @FailedHardAsian‌

@ikadiggit‌ Well in the end I only got 2080, especially when SATs in Asia were all delayed, so I didn’t get another chance to take it! The other information’s true though, hope they help a little!

Hey man, just trying to balance fun with studying. Never been a high stress student, don’t even have fifteen total pages of notes for all my classes combined this year lol with 6 aps.

I used to overwork myself and I like myself much better as a person now that I’ve keyed it down a bit

The admissions reps on campus said that acceptance rates vary every year between the schools. Like some years engineering is harder to get into than WCAS, but other years engineering is the easiest school to get into. All depends on number of applicants, so I would say they definitely make decisions based on school.

^makes sense

@Nardog15‌ Awesome! I’m so glad to see another chill student on here.

Yeah bro, definitely. Where u from? @ikadiggit‌

PA
