<p>Maybe that’s something they say so we stop bothering with questions. They’ve had over three months and it really makes sense that tomorrow’s the day because quarter ends friday but I guess we can only just keep sitting, waiting, and wishing :)</p>
<p>@LanaHere I was thinking about my other college counselor who was from the Emory admissions office and automatically assumed my other college counselor was the dean. She was actually the assistant director of admissions for Notre Dame then Duke. (which I have corrected btw) If you don’t want to believe me I don’t care. Just stating what was said to me…</p>
<p>We just grilled an intern in Evanston who should know… and all that she would commit to is beating the Ivies. That means March 20th-26th. Here’s hoping for 20th-21st :)</p>

<p>@jcrush18 Well your right that we can only know for sure when we actually get the decision letters and maybe colleges may say that to students who email them, but I think my cc is qualified enough for the admissions office to at least not joke with her about these things. She’s been doing this for a long time, and she seemed serious enough with her answer. If it does come out tomorrow or Friday, I’d be very happy just as you would. I’m just forcefully suppressing my urge to get my hopes up so that I don’t get disappointed when my college counselor turns out to be right, which she probably is…</p>
<p>Btw the guy who my college couselor talked to could have been talking about 10 decisions left or 500 decisions left. My college counselor wasn’t ruling out tomorrow or Friday, just that she thought it was more likely sometime next week.</p>
<p>I definitely believe more in what Northwestern done in the past years and what everyone else is saying than what some counselor supposedly claims</p>

<p>I think the decisions will be released tomorrow or Friday because of two observations I have made from the past 3 years: decisions have always been released on a Thursday or Friday and decisions are always sent out before ivies.</p>
<p>I so wish I’d applied to Weinberg but at the time I applied I was really feeling the journalism thing… NU is so competitive and Medill only takes like 260 people a year. oops. </p>
<p>Most likely tomorrow. I was deferred for ED, and Northwestern sent out those decisions on 12/12, which was a Thursday. Hope this helps! Good luck to all! </p>

I was just reading the email I got that told me I was qualified for RD, and was wondering why there were two possible email addresses that I was told to put on my contacts. Do you guys think one is good and one is bad? </p>
<p>No, they are just probably used to send emails from different email programs. Like one is for decisions and one is for communication (like updates) emails. </p>
