<p>Which college is the easiest and hardest to get into at NU? Applied to CAS, seriously wondering what my chances are. Accepted at WashU and waitlisted at Chicago.</p>
<p>I don’t think colleges matter a lot at NU; heard it’s easy to tag along any college and take courses once inside.:D</p>

<p>Thank you. Northwestern seems to be getting a lot harder to get in every year. I suspect that the acceptance rate will be even lower this year.</p>
<p>On another note, how is everyone so sure that they will notify us tomorrow? Weren’t last year’s applicants notified on a Friday?</p>
<p>No, last years were notified on the 21st which was a Thursday. This year’s corresponding day is tomorrow. </p>
<p>In the end I guess it’s not that important since it’s not ED. Everyone got a few schools to wait on and not hearing from one doesn’t matter much.</p>
<p>Unless you are absolutely sure NU is your first choice, that 's a different story.</p>

<p>My school’s college counselor emailed the admissions office and got a reply today. NW has not finished making decisions on all the applicants as of today. My counselor said that she thinks NW will release their decisions around the end of the next week. Sorry to break the bubble…</p>

<p>Just so you know the last few years have been a disaster as far as the releases have gone- system crashing, hours spent trying to log in etc…That was our experience in 2012. Don’t know what happened in 2013. </p>

<p>@collegeapp2018 I like CC and get a lot of info from here. I made an account just so that I could let everyone know. I am not trolling. In fact I told my friends at school that NW could release sometime between today and Friday based on predictions on CC. We were all excited until my college counselor broke the news about the email to us today. :(</p>

<p>The college counselor at my school that notified us to this tragic fact used to be the assistant director of admissions for Duke (and Notre Dame before Duke)</p>
