<p>Just got off the phone with them.
I told you guys, the more we call, the later the date they’ll say. The lady at Admissions said we will know between now and mid April… see??? Now if one of you guys call, they’ll tell you between now & mid May.</p>
<p>At least one of our two calls yesterday got the March 20th-26th reply… we will keep our hopes on that time frame. Plus they always announce before the Ivies… i.e. March 27th.</p>
<p>A few days ago, admissions told one of you guys that we’ll get our decisions by next week. Then someone else called after that, and was told between late march and early April. Now I just called and they told me between now and mid April.
They don’t like us calling. lol</p>

That’s the vibe I’m getting from that response, honestly; saying between now and April 1 was legitimate, but saying it will be before mid-April indicates to me that they’re releasing soon and don’t need to come up with plausible answers anymore.</p>

<p>Truth is, we just want a date, not between now and late March, or between now and early April, or between now and mid April. They know the date, but won’t tell us. All we want is the truth.

<p>Unless you do it anonymously and with a voice-changing device, in which case I completely support it. Actually, everyone on this thread should do that (GarageBand is great, guys) and record our answers on here. At least we’ll have something to laugh about while we bite our nails!</p>

<p>But seriously, I feel for the people who work in the admissions office. Imagine trying to do your work and then people constantly calling, asking when you’re going to be done. </p>

<p>The NU website says…Regular Decision Notification: Regular decision applicants to Northwestern will receive their admission decision by the last week of March… </p>
<p>But hidden within their HTML coding, it clearly says… (However, if you choose to ignore this and call us anyhow, we reserve he right to torture you by suggesting any date we feel like… ) So there you go. They clearly are choosing to alleviate their own stress at the expense of anyone who dares to call… lol :)</p>
