***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

2 math questions I could not do (surprising because they were in the beginning of the sections and I’m pretty good with math).

1) the one about the circle and the two lines that were not on the same plane and we had to know how many times they could not intersect (I guessed 5)
2) the one about the paint where it was in 3 different colors (I guessed 22.5)

@tng456‌
yeah I put no error

being is wrong b/c it was unnecessary in the sentence. the sentence should have read, “with the egg of an ostrich more than 4000 times that of a hummingbird”

I honestly thought this test was SOOOO much easier in CR+M+W than the october test.

@T41997 You guessed correctly. What about the x^2 - y thing?

@T41997‌ I got all those answers.

Yes to the perimeter being 12 + 4sqrt3

For those of you who didn’t have 4 math sections:

Did you have a section where the last question was the sum of odd integers from 0 to -99 and even from 1 to 100?

@daniiiiis‌ It was -2

x^2-y

x=3, y=11

for x^2-y= I put 2 but realized it was most likely wrong a little too late.

Being isnt unnecessary. Without the “being” it makes no sense.

What makes more sense:

The eggs ARE more than… (Are is same base verb as being)
The eggs more than

I got x^2-y to be -2

being is unnecessary because the sentence specifically used the word “with,” which indicates a parenthetical clause. “with the eggs being” sounds completely awkward imo

@wchristen89 thats what I guessed oh my gosh what a relief…was I missing something because I wasn’t sure how to do it though

Does anyone remember what they put for the desegregation vocab question?

@ScholarlyGrad‌ no i did not

Does anyone remember the exact questionabout the ostrich?? I put being as wromg bc i thought it shouldve been “as.” I remember seeing another as in the sentence…

Wait on the rounding question… the way ive learned is to round from the last digit all the way to the place we want it to be rounded to… but we are supposed to disregard everything except the digit immediately after?? O-O

I didnt have that question

MLK seemed younger vocab…I put facile but that’s wrong, not sure what it was supposed to be
