***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

I put unprecedented & irrevocable too. It was #2 and still hard

I had math experimental thank the lord because the math was oddly difficult for me (after calc BC --) and I know I missed some math so hopefully the hardest section didn’t count TT

I thought CR passage was easy, only 1 hard question, but vocab aish…I didn’t know anything and I always memorize around 500 words for the test

Writing was easy hallelujah because my past writing score was sub-700 and I anticipate this one to be at least 780 hopefully 800

Anyone remember the answer to the vocab question about the guy that moved around a lot? I think it was the last question on the 2 long passage section

What was the one about placebo? Inherent use or philosophical?

it was peripatetic

that one was a tough one but i think was about inherent use because both passages discussed the efficacy of homeopathy

Malcom X?^ lol I don’t remember the answer choices tbh

Same… if I knew the choices I would remember.

Malcolm X one was peripatetic or something. It means nomadic

Who feels like they should recenter the writing section so that an 800 and a 790 aren’t in the 99+ percentile while the other sections are only in the 99th?

ya i put peripatetic. and for the one bout ocean predators I put unprecedented…irrevocable.

What was that vocab question about physics being based on analysis and abstracts. I put the one with empirical.

def inherent use. I didn’t even question it

Was the perimeter one on the math (12+4(root)3)s

Does anyone remember a writing question about the largest eggs being 4000 times larger or something? I remembered that “being” is usually wrong on the SAT but I also thought it might be “no error”.

empirical=based on observation so yeah, that one

Math and writing was really easy
Probably -0 for math and -2 for writing
reading was really hard. Probably -10

how is “being” wrong?

@tng456 I put no error because if you changed “being” to is or was, it would make the two clauses independent clauses joined by a comma. So being was correct.

The one about ostrich eggs was definitely no error. Being is the correct conjugation since it used “with”.
