I thought it was hard

compared to october it was hard

Pi for the triangle area. And how is it not 24 for the period of 8 question?

because it starts at -1 -> -1+8+8 = 15 (two periods)

did anyone get C for the rows/chairs question? May for finding when it would reach 32 degrees? 29 degrees as the angle for 10,10, 5 triangle? “it is not symmetrical about the y-axis” for the question with given table values? 1.2 for standard deviation? (x^2-1)(x^2+1) for the question about 2 distinct real roots?

the answer was pi

i think i got like 24 for the rows/chairs question. I think i got may? the symmetrical question was (0,2). I got 1.2 also

@therearemany thanks. Can’t believe I made such a stupid mistake

i took this test last june and that test was really hard, i thought this was pretty easy

i just realized the area under the sin was supposed to be pi over 2 im so stupid

Did any of you log your answers into your calculator? If so, want to check with me? I’m a typical 750-800 scorer, and want to just see how our answers compare. PM me or just @ me saying you’re willing.

I got 0,2 @harvard00‌ also. Im referring to the question that gave you a set of data points and asked what you could infer from the data. I said that it was not symmetrical about the y axis

think that was at least one x intercept

@coffee100‌ i said you could infer that there was at least one x intercept because the question said it was a polynomial so it had to be continuous and the value for 2 was positive and 2.5 was like -13 or something so it had to hit the x axis. At least thats what i think but i was confused on that too.

what did you get for the compound interest? my friend got 10 but i got 108… im pretty sure ig ot that wrong. :(

What did you guys get for the question that had to do with a period of 8?
I chose 24 (E) but i’ve never seen a question like that before. What was the answer?

what was the answer for the function question? the one where they gave you values…was it that f(x) increases from 0 to 2 or that there is an x intercept??

X intercept @tempmath‌

I left three blank in the end. I’m pretty mad; if I had thirty more seconds, I would have been able to answer one of them. I was working on it when time was called. It was the one about the $1000 being compounded monthly. Other than that, though, I honestly felt very confident about my answers.
