<p>The buzz here at NYU is that they're taking fewer freshmen for the class of 12 because the yield for 11 was higher than expected.</p>

<p>No, because no one received mail from NYU today. I didn't and I'm from less than an hour away from NYC. I think it's coming tomorrow or Friday.</p>

<p>You are at the mercy of your local post office and mail carrier. Two years ago my daughter was waiting to hear from Tisch Musical Theatre (good luck CM). First day a handfull of people heard. Second day a bunch more, not my daughter. Third day she got her acceptance. It is not over until you get your letter so try to not read anything into the timing. People heard rejections before her and acceptance after. GOOD LUCK ALL</p>

<p>Yeah, but mail doesn't travel at the speed of light. And it's not first-class UPSed either. Hehe. =] I know how you feel though. I was at the mail box waiting for an hour, and my Mom insisted that it would definitely not be here today, yet I was still disappointed and surprised when it didn't come. xD</p>
