gpa 4.87 weighed, 3.9 unweighed
i thought I had about 80-90% chance of getting in, guess i was right :)

I live in NJ, so I figured I might as well check my mail this Sat. afternoon. Lo and behold a chunky envelope that says NYU. I walked back calmly to my house (had a hunch about the outcome!) and wtf! a brochure??? Oh it says congrats on it! Then relief flooded over me as I did a little victory dance.

I actually got in to a college!

about 3300 people applied...let say they accepted about 1320...
does it take this long to mail those acceptances?
i bet they mailed out acceptances and only have rejects...
this blows...really. ****ing sucks

I'm soooo happy for you guys...I live on the midwest so I'm an hour ahead and my mail doesn't come till 3:30 pm...aaaaaaahhhhh...lol...I congratulate all of you on a job well done...the journey is over, but the work is beginning..haha...Has anyone received letters from Tisch?...I'm wondering if Tisch will take longer because it takes awhile to review auditions and academics..well anyway, I hope to post on acceptance on this site soon!!!!!

how are you doing? Where did the girl that your D knows live? I'm worried that since I live in the midwest I won't get mine for another week..What did she audition with? Do you know her stats? I'm going crazy...hehe...Any information would be helpful!

Don't worry man,

They haven't even finalized a lot of the decisions...I'm sure you'll be accepted...It may take awhile for certain people...They may have a few spots open and they have to decide who they will accept and there might be people that cant accept their early spot for one reason or another..The letter will be in your mailbox soon.

my good friend got accepted to gallatin today ED with a 1210 SAT but mostly all honors/AP classes, heavy ECs involving politics and she is Brazilian, scoring an 800 on the spanish and portugese SAT IIs,
