For the one about Joannas brothers did anybody else put “they like to tease her” , because she bribed them to do chores, that does not mean they “liked doing housework”

Yellowstone passage

 • breadth (according to you all, i put depth because i was rushing)
 • the geysers and what not were caused by molten underneath

did anyone say the purpose of the passage was to compare the plume to a martini glass…
i was split between
a. similar to martini glass
b. describe multiple characteristics

pretty sure it was A similar.

@ihatecollegebrd I put describe multiple characteristics. The analogy/comparison martini glass was only ONE of the many characteristics it talked about.

The entire paragraph did not just talk about the similarities.

the passage specifically stated that they enjoyed chores and housework^^

i really didnt catch anything about the dad and his finances? i guessed and said that was something she thought she wouldnt have to deal with

some answers that everyone pretty much agreed with are
-the 3rd paragraph was a generalization
-the brothers like chores

 • joanna likes any folk
 • joannas dancing was very different from here dancing (don’t remember wording there)
 • the passage did not have any quotes from teachers
 • joanna’s sister’s friends statement agreed with the preceding paragraphs statements of her dancing

oh another answer i believe is correct for the “joanna” is that she believed ones life was a direct consequence of there choices/actions

not the exact wording but im pretty sure that is correct.
again, is anyone very sure of their answer to the question about her dads finances?

@ihatecollegebrd, do you agree that it was many characteristics of the plume?

corrrection joanna’s dancing is very different than her normal self

@siddysidsid i also put many characteristics because there were at least 2 details. 1 was that it was shaped like a martini glass and 2 there was some sort of statistic about 100 miles

does anyone remember how many C’s did you get for the humanities passage??? I ran out of time and i just bubbled in C.

Does anyone remember this question:
Question in Coffee Passage:

Why did charles want to ban coffee?

I put the answer that had rumors in it (I think A) because he suspected people in there were discussing things, trying to overthrow/oppose the government. Anyone else, please?

thenexus, you are correct

what was the answer to, I think it was the 1st question of the first passage. It was like what is the point of this passage or something. I put the show the personalities of two very different characters or something like that. is it wrong?

@Nexus and @tony, I’m not sure that choice was A. W/e the choice was, I put the answer that DID NOT include “government officials” in the wording. I recall it had a date in it though (1675). It said something about people plotting to overthrow.

@thenexus I picked that too

the one about joana and which one is not included - there is a teacher quote - i forgot her name but she talked about her dancing and how she dances freely with songs… if anyone knows what im talking about

I know what you are talking about. It wasn’t a teacher. It was here sister’s “chum” or friend. I double checked.

Crap!! I missed that one…

Ah yes! I assumed chum meant friend, so I put teacher’s quote. Or I’m pretty sure I did.

Was the teacher quote H?
