PSAT '05 - 80 CR 62 M 78 W
SAT last time (april) - 700 CR 720 M 800 W (10 essay) =2220
Oct. SAT - 750 CR 640 M 770 W (8 essay) =2160

i'm happy with the october score, even though the total went down. i was only retaking to boost my CR and i did, by 50 points, making my composite score from the best of each sub-score (since USC doesn't require them to be from the same sitting) a 2270

I'm really, really happy. If I'd taken the SAT more than twice or studied a ton, I guess I might have been lucky and gotten the math up, but I didn't really deserve an 800 on that. It would have been cool to be able to say that I got a 2400 (or at least that I beat one of my friends who got a 2380) but the only thing I was really unhappy with the first time I took this was my CR score, which I thought was lower than it should have been. Now I have absolutely nothing to complain aobut.

I always get so frustrated with myself when I see people with scores in the 1400s and 1500s talking about how bad their scores were here!!! Oh well, life's competetive.

Anyway, my scores were 630, 630, and i don't remember writing, but I got an 8 on the essay. All-around disppointing, since I took the SAT a year and a half ago and got only 20 points lower (CR + M)...looks like i'll be retaking in december, after much studying! Oh dear, senior year....

I've paid to take it again tomorrow and I told my SCEA school I would, but I don't really want to. I could probably 800 math if I did it again, but I doubt it's worth it.
