270 point improvement from last December, with no studying. I'm happy, although I was hoping for higher. I took one practice test a month ago and got a 2170 on it. I think that the difference was in what I was willing to risk when it was a practice, and what I was willing to risk during the real thing.

Here's the percentiles:

All kinds of other percentage charts here:

800R
770M
760W
12E

Not bad at all.

new String math = "";
new boolean answer;

if(math.equals("stupid"))
answer = true;
else
answer = false;

answer = true. :(

M - 690 (700 last time)
CR - 800 (800 last time)
W - 780 (700 last time)

this test: 2270.
highest combined: 2280.

I was hoping for 2300, but heck, math's not my standardized strong point, so why fret about it? I didn't prep, so no wonder why it fell. Oh well.

I'm done with standardized testing! Hallelujah!

M 700
CR 800
W 800

Essay 11
MC 79

I was so excited when I looked at my grades in AP Chem! It was like a dream come true. Now, I just need to study 4 math and then I will get a 2400 combined!!! :)

800- M
800- CR
760 - W

(Got a 790 W first time I took it)

Combined 2390 I guess.

480 - Reading
470 - Math
430 - Writing.

-_- Should I retake it the third time in December? I did not improve that much. X.X; I went downhill.

spend a month studying really hard, and retake. getting each of your sections to around 500 could be a big difference.

CR - 770 (740 last time)
M - 680 (650)
W - 640 (700)

I was really surprised to see my scores. I have the same overall score as last time but I got a 770 in CR! I really thought it would go down because I was mostly worried about my math score going up. I got that up but then my writing went down. :( Well, at least most of the schools I'm looking into combine subscores.

That's the last time I'm taking that test. Yay!

CR - 800
W - 790 (12 essay)
M - 730
Total - 2320

So that was my first SAT...a bit disappointed with the math (because I want to go into science) but oh well. Here's to March.

M - 690
W - 800
CR - 800
Essay: 11

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
This is it. Final proof that this test is COMPLETE rubbish.
My previous scores were M - 630, W - 740, CR - 750, Essay - 9.

Last time I studied math for a straight week and had written a very similar essay the day before in my SAT Prep class.

This time I studied math for a straight hour and had not written an essay in months. I thought my math actually improved, (More than 60 points, too) but I was almost positive that my writing and CR were absolutely TERRIBLE, because I could tell as I was working them that they were much worse than I had ever done. For the one where you have to choose what's wrong with a sentence, I think about SIX of them were Correct as is. My essay this time was also terrible, and presented very little evidence. I wrote for a page and a half about the definition of success (went into a lot of detail about how flawed a score based scale of success is, lol-- can you tell I was stressed much?) Then I looked up and realized I had five minutes to finish the essay. I wrote short 2 to 3 sentence long paragraphs that presented shallow, awkwardly-explained evidence and concluded with a typical repeat-whatcha-just-said conclusion.

I can't understand these scores at all. :(
