WRITING- 650 (8 essay, 67 mc) i was expecting 700 </p>
<p>BLAHHHHH i got a 610 math january 2005, and a 500 CR. Only a 40 point improvement in 8 MONths sucks. </p>
<p>PS: This was my second time and the raw score is 1790. Im a sophomore so should I wait till next year before i give it another try or go ahead take one inj 6 months?? go for that 2000.</p>
<p>also, the math was hard this time. Did yall think so? How can i improve it to 800?</p>

<p>I went up 40 points so now im at a 1310, Im very happy with my scores. My writing went down 80 points from march tho LOL</p>
<p>gameguy, you really shouldn't have taken 2 tests by sophomore year. You should try to test only three times maximum--by the time you you're finished with apps in Dec/Jan of your senior year.</p>
<p>but isnt it true that people who want to go into top schools, ivies should only take the SAT 3 times?? </p>
<p>As for me, I want to go to UF which is not an ivy school so I guess I can take it like 5-6 times by senior year and maybe get 2200 eventually?</p>

<p>In October I only focused on math. I didnt try on verbal and writing because I felt like I couldnt improve anyway. Plus it's easier to relax when you know that writing and verbal dont really matter for you.</p>

<p>Overall, I'm very happy considering that I got a 1730 the first time. I thought for sure my math would be higher but I guess I shouldn't complain to much.</p>

<p>I retook it to bring up my math subscore, which I did, but only by 20 points. In addition, my writing went down 60 points! I guess I should have studied...</p>
