I just checked the site, and I got accepted!

"Dear _______,

Congratulations! It gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the College at Penn Class of 2010, the 254th graduating class since Benjamin Franklin founded the University in 1740.

I look forward to welcoming you to campus next September. Our faculty, staff and students eagerly await your arrival next fall and I am certain that your years with us will be both challenging and rewarding. In the meantime, you should not hesitate to call upon this office if we may assist you during the coming months.

Best wishes.

Sincerely,

Dean of Admissions "

jpps I believe was deferred, but there would be a lot more people posting here even if just acceptances were up, trust me ;). It's probably a special case

he must have gotten in early there is no other way he would have got it so early...or maybe if he asked for a scholarship?
so is it on the 30 th then? or even later on?

Mine does not have a decision yet either. Decisions will be released on the 30th at 5 pm EST (GMT +5). If you don't have your username and password, e-mail eapps@admissions.upenn.edu with your name, online app username, and Penn ID number and they will provide you with your username and password for the decision system.

I don't think I stand the multiple rejections I'll receive within 2 days. I'm already rejected at USC for all intensive purposes (as in not officially but at this point only 350 seats remain). I just wish this stupid process was over!

I just checked the site! Oh my goodness, ACCEPTED!!!

We were pleased to receive an exceptionally fine group of applicants for next year's entering class. You have my warmest personal congratulations on your outstanding achievements. We were delighted to see that you had selected Penn as your first choice for your college experience.

Your decision letter is in the mail and contains materials concerning your matriculation to Penn. The acceptance reply card should be returned, together with the $200.00 acceptance deposit, to the Admissions Office by May 1, 2006. We do expect that your academic performance will continue throughout your senior year at the same high level you have maintained up to this point. Additional information about your matriculation at Penn, including housing registration forms, will be mailed to you in April.
