How did you guys find out?

Decisions have been mailed
Most likely yesterday

I got waitlisted, and they give you three dates to keep your name on the waitlist, may 15, june 1st or july 1st and you have to pick one

I’m confused, which is the best date to pick if pitzer is your #1 choice, because it’s either pitzer or a community college for me and I really am trying to get off the waitlist

My son got an email today saying that an official letter was in the mail but that Pitzer wanted to let him know that he was accepted.

i got wait listed… :(

FrogMom, if we didn’t receive an e-mail we can expect to be waitlisted or rejected?

Was anyone else who was accepted e-mailed?

D3 received her bright orange acceptance packet this afternoon! We live in Los Angeles. Good luck to all!

Waitlisted here and CMC

Accepted to Pomona so who cares!

Congrads on Pomona dulcecab13! Pitzer’s my number one and I’m going crazy waiting, was wondering if you could tell me the first initial of your last name (I assume they’re notifying by last name, or at least hope), so I can gauge how much longer the torture will last?

Well i got mine already because I’m in SoCal and only 10 minutes away from the CC a

But if it helps, my last name starts with CAB

Good luck! Pomona was my top choice!

peacelovesoul, Frogmom mentioned in another thread (her son over-laps with my daughter as well…) that they are overseas. That probably explains the e-mail. I’m hoping my daughter will hear tomorrow, but much more likely Monday. Good luck!
wait…wait…wait…

I got my letter today (Friday) and I live about 10 minutes away from Pitzer.

Rejected. Pretty sad.

Good luck to everyone

@dulcecab–don’t take this the wrong way or anything, but you were wait listed at pitzer and accepted at pomona?! haha that’s great, congrats on pomona…but isn’t it usually the other way around? isn’t Pomona ridiculously hard to get into?

@Lee
Yeah I know! I think my essays played a huge part though. As a Questbridge Finalist I got to send Pomona my QB application which was more in depth (3 full essays and 25 short answers) While at CMC and Pitzer I wrote their common app supplement essays the day before and the day of the deadline so they had been revised once and they weren’t very good. Also, I’ve hear a lot that being Hispanic helped lol

ahh gotcha! that makes sense. well congrats again on pomona! hopefully the rest of us here will have the same luck with pitzer.

eeek!! just got accepted from Maryland! :D

Just got my acceptance packet, they go all out on the cover!!

Did anyone get scholarship information in their packet?

I live in LA and just got my big orange envelope!!! Good luck to all those still waiting!

Just got my letter and I’m in NorCal. Waitlisted Does anyone know how many people they put on the waitlist?

Waitlisted here. 4.36 Weighted GPA, 33 ACT, okay ECs, strong essays. They waitlisted a TON of people this year - every single person I know got waitlisted except for a guy who got in because of sports I’m pretty sure, so this doesn’t come as a surprise this year. Anyone know how many people applied?
