Correction acceptd: boys and girls. lol. Thanks for the update…March 30th is my birthday…I hope it’ll be an early birthday present for me from Princeton (a good one, that is) lol

musicgal3:Yeah, I’ve been feeling snappy. it gets the stress out a little. but my poor victims…lol. Yay…we are!

haha yeah. a bunch of juniors are coming up asking if I got into princeton or harvard yet. =.= if only they knew how apps worked, they should’ve realized that I just TURNED them in and am waiting painstakingly for march 30th to roll around

Ha, I’m lucky- I’m homeschooled, so I don’t have to put up with that. Although there is this old guy at my church who got into Harvard (for nuclear physics! 8-0 ), and since I’m applied there too, he keeps asking me if I’ve heard back. :)

Butternut…how old is this guy??? sounds ancient to me. he doesn’t know that harvard doesnt respond until forever from now? LOL.
So you are a homeschooled kid, huh? that’s pretty awesome :)

Everyone in my school knows where I applied, I really don’t think it matters that much who knows. I suppose you guys have a right to your privacy… but to me, it seems like a non-issue.

lol same @ eating food – unless its just like complete randos that i dont know, then im just like, w.e i applied to 15 schhools, im not listing them all for u

totally agree with what some of you are saying about the classmates/peers.

i go to a very competitive high school-- but it’s only that way because pretty much all of the top kids in my grade are OBSESSED with everyone else’s business (grades, SATS, where they’ve applied, number of freckles, you name it!). it makes me yearn for college since i have this adorably naive view that the kids in the schools i’ve applied to won’t be like this. while i KNOW this is nonsense for the most part, i still like to dream! :)

i agree with what you guys were saying about not wanting to tell anyone where you’ve applied. people are simultaneously awed and judgmental when you mutter princeton under your breath when they ask you where you’ve applied. it’s annoying to not know where i’m going yet so i always feel like i’ve somehow betrayed myself once i give in tell them places that i will likely be rejected from. it’s really my own fault, i guess. i love avoiding these questions when i can… but these questions are still the senior year refrain and sooo hard to escape from!

good luck everyone who applied for 2013!.. and to the class of '13 in general. no matter where we all go, we’ve got a lot to be happy about!!

since you’re looking for ways to pass the time…who thinks they’ve applied to the most schools? (this could be interesting…)

i applied to 12 schools - 7 privates and 5 UC’s, so I guess I really only did 8 apps
and letranger, i have the same view about hoping the disappearance of those annoying classmates in college - but i know college can be just as competitive depending on the school. yikes!

how has the first week back to school been for everyone? senioritis yet?

hahaha butternut. gotta love those cute grandpas!!

I applied to 7 school. not much. Although it should be counted as 5 because 3 of them were UCs and UCs only require 1 app for all the schools.

One lucky girl at my school dont even have to worry…She’s already accepted to Princeton because of athlete recruitment. Wish I was good at softball :(

I have SEVERE senioritis. I even skipped the first day back! lol

i applied to 8. Good number. I originally had 5, but then popped princeton, harvard, and stanford onto my list after discovering the financial aid thing (but that was long ago).

lol, kitkatz!
i was tempted to do that, too. but i eventually rolled out of bed and decided to save my absences for the spring, when i’ll know where i’m going and will have severeeee senioritis
