Yeah, that was definitely one of the most controversial questions this year. I love your profile picture lol @DonkeyTesticles

I think I missed 4 critical reading, 3 math, and 3 writing. What do you feel the scale is? I’m really hoping for a 216+.

I had eeee but changed because I thought I screwed up

@icequeenforever @NotAMathlete Same.

@schakrab I thought the two passages were contrasting, since it seemed like the second one was really highlighting the fact that the people needed the mill

Wait was writing confirmed eeee? That’s never happened before and I doubt CB would start doing it out of the blue.

For the canyon passage:
fixed meant unchanging
The comparison was with the CD/live performance
The viewer would be let down if it didn’t match his preconceived view
Difference between seeing in lines 23/26: Viewing vs discovering
P is inversely proportional to number of people
Government opened park so people could experience what the dude originally saw

I definitely agree and understand the argument. I’m honestly not sure though. My best section is usually CR, too. I usually only miss 1 or 2 and on writing about the same. @icequeenforever

I wasn’t too sure about the invention one. I was going between supporting and undermining but I think I put supporting

@icequeenforever I’m pretty sure it was chronological narrative. About the behavior one. . . There was a question that asked about how the author of passage one would respond to a contention in passage two I think? (Had to do with the word dehumanizing) I said that some forms of behavioral modification resemble acceptable forms of human interaction. . .(lolthatwordingtho). Also for simply I said the meaning was ‘merely’.

@NotAMathlete I believe I said those answers too

Ugh that invention passage screwed me up…

@NotAMathlete Yes, I put all of those.

I think it was eeee

don’t think the two pasages were contrasting because in the second passage the inventions were more because she felt the frustration/suffering and wanted to solve the problem. She didn’t invent because she felt it was a necessity, she invented so she could solve a problem and solve suffering or whatever which is what the first passage said

The question after that about how the author of passage would view the inventions also supported it because most of the choices were garbage but the one that made sense was: “view her inventions as the same purpose as other inventions” or something.

eeee is confirmed.

@meaa7130 Yep, passage 1 was more pragmatic and passage 2 was more philosophical.

I said the fixed definition was prearranged or something like that

wow that was really hard! I missed at least one in math (I usually get them all) and I think I missed at least one in critical reading. Writing was normal however, and perhaps even easier than normal.

Well, I can only hope I didn’t miss anymore to qualify for nmsf

there were like 2 or 3 really tough questions in the CR so I hope the curve is better.

The author kept bringing up that people have preconceived notions and stuff so I felt that was the answer

@KavinWHS35 I know, I can’t believe College Board would do that to us.
