Does anyone remember the 2048 question. All you had to do was subtract 8420 from 2048 right? I also might be remembering the number incorrectly.

what was the one question in Crit Reading, passage about calligraphy, where it was like:

the primary purpose of the list of questions of the interviewer is?
relevant options:
upsetting kishi
reinforcing fascination with technical details
facile nature

@collegetalk11 I’m fairly sure its facile nature

@Dangwun I think the one for the 1997 question began with: “The year 1997 saw…” the word “saw” was underlined, and I believe it was the wrong one. What did you put?

Totally clueless about the scoring scale. Sorry @austin23

aite haha that facile nature could have gone multiple ways… in fact alot of the crit reading was fairly ambigious… wouldnt be surprised with a lenient curve

Yes that’s right

@meaa7130 I don’t think the answer to the graph question with the months was 13.5. I believe it was 13, since in June, it ended with 4 inches, then in July it ended with 6, and in August, it ended with 9. So from June to July, it went up by 2, and from July to August, it went up by 3, so if August is 9, then september must be 9+4=13, since the sequence goes by +2, +3, +4. What do you think?

Thought 2048 was 8420-2048, not the other way around.

answer was definitely 13.5. Multiple 1.5 to 4 and you get 6. Then 1.5 to 6 and you get 9. Finally 1.5 to 9 and that’s 13.5

@YoohooAddict
It said that it was multiplying by the same rate which was 1.5. So the answer is 9 x 1.5 = 13.5

each months distance was 50% more than the previous, so 41.5=6 61.5=9 9*1.5=13.5

I just wanted to go back to the businesslike question. How many people chose businesslike and how many people chose the other answers? And what was your reasoning???

i chose businesslike because compare to the first one, which had like the author’s story of being a dolphin trainer, the second one seemed a lot more formal

@swagcurryyolo What was the question for that one?

@awakeningvenus it was the one about positive reinforcement and it asked how passage 2 differed from passage 1

I think it was the tone of the second passage in the first CR section about the reward psychology thing. (only long passage LOL) @awakeningvenus
