***OFFICIAL PSAT Wednesday, October 12

oh, and i did the 1111 question with my calculator, but rounded at certain steps, and ended up writing 1109 for the answer. do you think if I have it hand scored, they'll mark it correct? I mean, I did perform the correct steps, and its only 2 away for blankety blank sakes.

was the exclusionists one B?

it would still be wrong. and guys, im positive the answer is E. i didnt plug in numbers, i worked with the tedious and annoying algebra.

ok 49, so each edge is 7. there are in total 12 edges. 7 * 12 = 84.

I got 56 ( 7x8 = 56) ..doh! :(

jai, the circle was inscribed, so basically the square is the area of the circle plus those 4 little pieces the circle cut off. how can they be equal in area

[/quote]

forgot about the 4 parts i missed.. doh once again.

mkeb1, can you give background for that question, i dont remember.

mk .. do you remember the choices or the answr you picked... i vaguely remember it ... it was kind of annoying and I actually remember circling B but i may be confusing it with another problem ...

B had the word "popular" in it, i dont remember the rest

how annoying was the random 5 D answers in the first section of critical reading!! I was seriously like " I definetly did something wrong here" .. but I checked my answers and all of them were D .... still weird though .. I hate putting too many of the same letters consecutively (yea, im weird like that)

Coolsushicutter, was E the one with or without pi in it?

um... it was like 6r+18/r or something like that

E was the one definetly without pi in it (thats why I picked it) =)

But no pi, right? I think that is was I put. The other one was like r+3/3 times pi or something?

yea. E had no pi, D did

yes ...the answers were like</p>

A- 9
B-12
C-R
D- pi(r +3/3)
E- Forgot but was the answer .....(didnt have pi in it - just r)

i had 3 consecutive D's .. not 5.. dunno..

Excellent. I think I got that one and the pentagon both right on nearly pure guessing.

Ironically, I got the pentagon one wrong even though I knew what the answer should have been ( thought 540 degrees in pentagon but inputted 360 into my calcultor and divided by 5...). lol... oh well....

yeah i definitely didnt get 5 Ds.. maybe like 3, or unlikely 4.

who got 14 for the average question in the grid-in section :

If q,r,s,t have an average of 10 .. what is the average of s-r, 2(q) +6 .... i forgot the rest ...

Did everybody get 14?

yes 14. cuz it was like the q+r+s+t+16 over 4.
