I got 14. I plugged them each in as ten.

How about the CR? In the fisherman passage, what was the "break" that the doctor saw in the girls flushed face?

oh and I think the discepancy in the D's is because of the question we were talking about before ... the question dealing with the controlled eruption ... I put D ...... thats why I have 5 in a row ... so IDK .. .that question was really hard!

the cheek question answer was the one that talked about irregularities ..... that passage was freakin annoying!!!

math is easy this year. But the long passage is a pain. I m so lost on that. The one says something about river.

I had irregularities but then changed it to A, I don't remember what it was though.

I thought this years math was rather hard, and i consider myself to be rather good at math. Maybe it's because I spent all my time preparing for CR though?

the flushed face was like an answer that had the word disruption in it, i think, probably wrong. i dont think i saw any other "scientific" term in the answer list, and it had to be scientific since the point of the passage is once you first see something, you might think its amazing, but later on, when you are more familiar and professional with it, you dont find it to be as amazing as before. same with a doctor, when he sees something, he sees in a scientific way, not a way he finds beautiful and appreciative, so thats why the question about break was the scientific answer.

Cool sushi is right when she says that the doctor saw passed the beauty and only saw in terms of his profession .. however, I really think the best answer was the one about irregularities ..... because he did not see the beauty of anything and only saw the tehcniqual ... he would see the "flushed face" as a problem or irregularity...... thats what i chose - after ur explanation though I guess I could see why u picked ur answer though - I do not think the answer had to have a scientific term just because it was a science passage..

the question and the passage itself was gay. we'll leave it at that haha

Does anyone remember the choices? I put A.

Exrunner , you are defeintly right - math was harder ........ for some reason though, I guessed right on every problem that I had a problem with ... I guess I had a lucky day ......

i guess its really what he meant by "break" in the cheek. i know its a type of disease, seeing I used to know this girl who looked like she always blushes and said its a disease, but really I just guessed its some disruption under the cheek. I dont know, irregularities, once I think about it, is also probably right, seeing i never even considered it before. but come on, when the PSATs force you to think scientifically on a CR question, theres gotta be something wrong :)

Same with me vinny. I had an amazing math guessing day. I guessed 36 on the pentagon.

for the passage "Lost in translation " who picked the choice that read " Greeks can not translate many sayings into English" and the choice that asked u to pick which statement referred closest to what the passage said?

damn you guys guessing stuff right. now they wont ease up on the curve anymore lol

i put the same answer vinny

Yeah vinny, I chose that one. I bet they do ease up on the math curve though.

woo-hoo!!!... and dont worry cool, I made my fair share of math mistakes .. one being i wrote the wrong proportion for the link question on the grid-in... picked 4 instead of 2500 ..oops!!! oh well... many ppl said the math was hard so many one wrong will still give me an 800 .. prob not though .. knowing collebeboard, I will get a 680 with 1 wrong ....lol

What do you guys think about the curve for math?
80, 78,75,73,71?

lets hope so, last year -3 was 70
