<p>About essays. Apparently, the HTML proofread version (which is what they see) doesn’t retain spaces. Instead of indenting, they want us to:</p>

<p>Finished everything yesterday, found out BOTH of my teachers didn’t start the rec until last night and one is still working on it. The Teacher Rec extension website is also responding with “couldn’t execute query.” so it is impossible to request the extension.</p>
<p>I’m freaking out but I guess it’s out of my hands, I’ve done my application and done everything possible to make it easier for all my recommenders and the counselor to streamline the application. I just hope Questbridge extends it!</p>
<p>I have a feeling they won’t extend it… Well at least we got the essays done earlier than most people.</p>
<p>About the indenting line space thing, I TRIED that, but everytime I put a line between a paragraph, it deleted like 20 words from my essay, which is about 499 words. For some reason their formatting counts those lines as words, or at least it did on mine. Really frustrating.</p>
<p>Yeah my recommenders and counselor only finished everything today, so I couldn’t submit my app and by the time I got on and was checking everything over I started getting database errors and then… it doesn’t load.</p>
<p>Should I still submit an extension request if I don’t know my QB number because the Locker’s down? And place to find it?</p>
<p>If it’s in HTML format, shouldn’t you be able to use HTML codes to format it and make it look pretty?</p>

<p>Especially if the server is down. Same thing happened with UCs last year they gave an extension.</p>
<p>Just follow the directions they indicated the html will not format what you paste in with indents. There is no workaround for this.</p>
<p>Why would they consider an extension? They specifically warned us that this **** would happen and we didn’t listen. Our fault. We learn from our mistakes and move on with our lives.</p>
