yea i totally agree

I just got an e-mail from Columbia saying they’re deadline is November 4th : o
I think that may have been referring to the supplement but yeah it makes be feel better about getting it in at 12:30 AM last night like all my other application stuff… :

I’m sure they have plenty of other reasons to reject me I’m not so worried that schools will choose to use this as an excuse to not admit.

Good luck to everyone :D

This is what UChicago told me about the time zone thing: “Yes, your application is just fine. It would honestly be OK if you submitted it this morning. Were not so hard and fast about deadlines that we would penalize a student for such a thing. Youre all set.”

I love this school. :x

i didnt put “questbridge finalist” anywhere on the common app, even though i am one. wont they still know though so i ranked those schools?

I know this is sort of like a self-fulfilling prophecy, but in the event that I won’t get matched (which is more likely than it isn’t), numerous Questbridge partner schools require additional materials, of which, according to the Questbridge time table for Regular Decision, include 2 teacher recommendations.

Does this imply the two teacher recommendations that are already part of the original Questbridge application? Or does this mean I’ll have to submit the Common App + two additional teacher recommendations, even though the specific college says the Questbridge application will be taken in lieu of the Common App?

Example: look at Brown University’s table for Finalists Who Didn’t Rank Brown -> [QuestBridge National College Match - Regular Decision Table for Finalists](QuestBridge)

ALSO: I kind of sort of didn’t submit the Common App + supplement for Princeton University for the National College Match and understandably, my application will probably not be reviewed for NCM. However, does this hinder my chances for the Regular Decision round? As in, will it be seen in a lesser light since I ranked Princeton initially but didn’t follow through with the additional materials?

forthenguyen, with all the apps they have to go through, I seriously doubt Pton would notice.

anybody get an email from Stanford? that they received a regular admission application. did I do something wrong?

I did too. I think it’s an automatic e-mail we get when we turn in our common app. I wouldn’t be worried.

i didnt put “questbridge finalist” anywhere on the common app, even though i am one. wont they still know though so i ranked those schools?

The Stanford email saying you’re a RD applicant sounds fine to me. Since you aren’t a SCEA applicant I think they then classify you as RD.

Has anyone received an interview request from any of the schools they applied to yet?

If I do not want to rearrange my rankings, I do not need to submit and fax the agreement form again, right? I should just disregard the “In Progress” under my college match agreement section on my locker?

If you’re not rearranging your rankings don’t worry about it
(Or at least that is my understanding)

Hey, for those of you applying to Princeton, who’ve received the princeton financial aid form due nov 17, do any of you know how we’re supposed to fill it out with 2010 tax returns when we havent even had 2010 taxes yet?? are we supposed to put an estimate? this is so confusing.

@kathryns

yea i estimates the 2010 and 2011 ones based on the 2009 tax return but something that didnt understand is how we’re supposed to know the amount of tax paid in 2010 and 2011…i mean thats the whole point of the tax forms is to figure out how much you will pay

Mentos I recieved a called from an alumni interview from brown. She left a voicemail but when I called back no answer idk what to do.

Has everybody received their princeton financial aid forms? I haven’t gotten mine and I’m a little worried.

@ironturtle I received it last week in an e-mail that had a link to the PFAA.

Here is the link:
http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/pdf/1011/Questbridge-NONCU.pdf

Hopefully it works for you too…

Ooops… That was the non-custodial parent one.

For real this time:
http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/pdf/1112/Questbridge-US-PFAA.pdf

Do we send in the non-custodial after were matched?
