tons of schools don’t warn applicants lol.
Wash U in St. Louis gave none either
@trinity16 They might not send warning so that their servers don’t crash with everyone checking their portals at the exact same time.
@Jewelz4 I did! I put Early Childhood Education as my major!
However, in past years, the Vanderbilt Admissions Blog always announces when decisions are posted/mailed. I think until something comes up on that site, there is little chance that we get the decision.
@sophie9999 that’s a good point…we’ll see!!
Fingers crossed.
Applied to CAS, Peabody is my alternate.
“Very soon”. Decisions are definitely today, if they are meant to be realeased sometime during the week, they wouldn’t use that measurement of time. ANYONE HERE A ECONOMICS MAJOR???
If everyone checks posts #99-105, you will see that the “undergrad 2016-2017” theory means a lot…
Omg good luck! I did CAS and Peabody alternate, too
My son applied COE and checked yes for FA. His portal also shows Fall 2016 Engineering and FA tab says the same as others have noted. Rejected for CV, waiting on Ingram and Curb. Who knows what happens… This was one of his “reach” schools, along with Duke and GT (deferred). He is top 1%, but competition is more than fierce. Accepted at NC State, VT, UF and others.
Honestly do we need to know about your son? Why are you posting about him online
@tutututututuru what the heck? Literally all people do on this website is post stats…That’s the point… People post stuff like that and get feedback, encouragement and support. We’re all stressed about decisions but you need to calm down! :)) :))
to be fair i thought that was pretty funny
I posted because another person, with far better manners than you, asked what colleges folks applied to at V. You do realize this is a forum where people, students and parents, share info about colleges, right?
Ahhhh guys please no drama.
anyone know what time decisions are most likely to come out?
its creepy when parents post for their kids, likely without the kid knowing
@WeSayWarEagle I’m sure no one meant to start anything, there are just some anxious people here apparently. Good luck with Curb! However, I was under the impression that Ingram invites went out in late January and finalist interviews were in February.
I just don’t like the idea of parents being so obsessed with where the kids go to school that they’re posting anonymously online about them. This should be for stressed kids, who are the ones actually applying. Parents being like this just creates more pressure
